Cons:

la stanza era caldissima. il condizionatore faceva solo rumore ma non mandava aria fredda con un caldo esterno molto elevato. per la notte hanno messo un ventilatore che non ha risolto la problematica.

Excellent central location and very helpful staff.
Pros:

Well situated for centre of Bologna. Very helpful and knowledgable staff, who took trouble to return something left behind. The hotels’s osteria also helpful and very reasonable.

Perfect destination to explore the food and sights of Bologna
Pros:

Great location in the city centre, but tucked away down a quiet side street. Solid trattoria/restaurant attached to the hotel with delicious pasta dishes (e.g. try the passatelli). Impeccable service from the team at the front desk. Comfortable room (with a pillow menu!)

Seek this one out.
Pros:

This is a lovely, friendly hotel in an absolutely superb location just off the main piazza, right in the midst of walkable restaurants, bars and shops. The breakfast is also exceptional. Tall people should be careful of the fourth story rooms, however, as there are sloped ceilings to avoid.

Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PHI Bologna to traveling friends.
