It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Cons:

We didn't get the room that we originally booked, and the second room leaked water from the ceiling. Then we were moved to a third room. I originally booked a king studio and we never got that.

Overall for the price I willl not be staying here in the future.
Pros:

The only thing I liked about this property was the location and pool

Cons:

They wanted $15 a night to park in the hotel parking lot.
The room was dirty and disgusting.
The couch on the room was stained and dirty
The shower did not work correctly and had tape in the tub covering holes.
The hair dryer did not work.
The game room was filled with furniture from remodels currently going on.
Construction work noise started early in the morning on rooms surrounding my room. Very loud and disturbing.

We were overall disappointed after many years of wanting to stay here.
Pros:

Bathroom was very nice, spacious and nice updated. Bed was nice though and comfortable. Towels were nice and plentiful for our 3 day stay. View was nice as well.

Cons:

Our room stayed on the warm side even with us running the fan on high. My wife spoke to the front desk about our a/c temperature, as we could not make it cooler by the thermostat. She told her that we need to change it to heat to cool off our room. That didn't cool it off either. The room furniture was odd, a very stained sofa, unattractive chairs at the table, then a brightly colored single chair that didn't look like it belonged with the other furnishings. I also had to tighten the toilet seat, as it was quite loose and slide to the side when seated. Still don't understand why the hotel charges 15/day for parking on site and for that reason only I won't be coming back to waste $45 again. First time ever paying for parking in the over 40+ consecutive years we have been going to O.C..

Cons:

It’s in the middle of refurbishment and one of the rooms I had were one that hasn’t been updated yet. The shower was a little moldy in this unit.

Horrible.
Pros:

The location was okay, except for an open bar located behind the hotel. This business was not an indoor bar. The people, customers, were extremely loud and made noise and screamed until 3 am in the morning. Therefore, my family and I couldn't sleep much.

Cons:

The description in Booking states that the property is a resort and each room has a kitchen. This is not true. All rooms have been updated to remove the kitchens from all the rooms and now this business is considered a hotel. In addition the room had a water leak. Water was dripping from the air conditioner located inside the ceiling. And to top it off the water was dripping from the smoke alarm located right below the AC. We called the front desk to report it and were told they couldn't do anything and to place a bucket under the leak. Therefore we had a very hard time sleeping because of the water leak and the bar located next to the hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Most of the staff was rude. I had to ask for clean towels given that we had to use the towels in the bathroom to wipe the wet floor due to the water leak. They gave me a hassle to provide clean ones.

This place was totally a rip off and the description in Booking was deceiving. Not worth the price we paid.
