Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would most likely stay at another Ayer’s Hotel.
Pros:

The property was nice and I liked the decor of the hotel.

Cons:

The property was great, but I was a little bothered by how I was treated when I checked in. I got to the hotel at 4pm, an hour after check in. I was told that my room wasn’t ready. I questioned why it wasn’t ready since it was an hour after check in. The front desk staff had a bit of an attitude. The woman then told me that they could give me a different room which was fine. Why wasn’t this room offered to me initially? Anyway, everything worked out.

We regularly visit family in Seal Beach and will choose Ayres for our stays!
Pros:

We truly were happy with our room. Pluses include a comfortable bed, clean bedroom and bathroom, didn’t have to wait long for hot shower water, a delicious and filling breakfast and coffee in our room.

Cons:

The only thing I could think of is you might consider painting or refinishing the front entrance door.
