The property was great
Quiet, Clean & Modern with relaxed Cali vibe! Very reasonably priced. It was January so we didn’t utilize the outdoor space but it was also very nice.
The view…but we stayed to be near friends and family as well as Disney so our expectation wasn’t to sit and enjoy a view! It was near a busy intersection but barrier walls are surrounding the busy area to divide the road from the neighborhood so it was quiet.
This property is fantastic! I had a spacious room with high ceilings and a super comfortable bed. The daily housekeeping service is a huge plus, especially since many hotels have stopped offering it after COVID. The shower head had perfect water pressure, which was a huge relief.
The complimentary breakfast was fresh and tasty, but it would be great if they could offer a bit more variety for those staying longer. For example, they could switch out the 2 types of sausages for bacon and the scrambled eggs for omelettes.
The check-in process was pleasant, although it did take a bit longer than expected. The check-out was quick and easy.
The complimentary coffee in the room seems to be a one-day thing, as housekeeping doesn’t replenish it. They otherwise did a good job ensuring the room was clean, fresh, and organized.
While I initially thought the decor in pictures seemed too “themed,” dated, and stuffy, it actually created a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. There’s soft, classical music playing in the reception area with a lit fireplace, which adds to the relaxing ambiance.
Pleasant and friendly staff throughout the hotel as well… I’m now a fan and I’ll definitely be staying at Ayres Seal Beach again!

The room was nice. We only stayed one night and did not use any of the facilities.
The breakfast closed at 9. Pretty early for folks on vacation. None of the sanitizer machines had gel in them.
I had a wonderful stay at Ayres Hotel and wanted to highlight how impressed I was with both the cleanliness of the property and the kindness of the staff. From the moment I arrived, everything felt well-maintained, fresh, and very comfortable.
A special thank you to Israel at the front desk who checked me in. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. That kind of hospitality really sets the tone for a great stay.
Although I had some personal commitments that were already prearranged and didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy all of the hotel’s amenities, everything I did experience was excellent. I’d definitely be happy to return in the future when I have more time to relax and enjoy the property for leisure.
Another convenient feature I appreciated was the mini convenience area. It offers snacks, over-the-counter medications, and other small essentials, and the self-checkout system makes it quick and easy to grab what you need.
Overall, it was a very positive experience and I’d gladly stay here again.

Hotel was perfect location for visit with family. It was clean and quiet with easy parking and professional staff. The beds were very comfortable and met all our needs. I will say with some major upgrading and renovations I would have given this an excellent rating.
