Very nice three day stay
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. The hashbrowns were excellent The sausage and eggs were very good

Cons:

The first hotel we stayed at had waffles for breakfast, along with eggs, sausage, hashbrowns etc. I like waffles.

Our stay was exceptional and unexpected for a smaller town of Seal beach.
Pros:

The Rooms were very nice and clean and comfortable. The Hotel was a great value for the exceptional quality they provided. The Breakfast was hot and fresh. They provided a wide variety of foods and Pancakes on request. The outdoor patio was peaceful and relaxing for an early morning coffee.

Cons:

I would have liked to see coffee service available later into the day. They did provide hot water and tea 24/7 and the front desk did provide me hot water when they had run out at 5pm. I would have liked hard boiled eggs during breakfast as an option and some fresh berries or fruit. The pastries they provided were much better than you would find at any hotel breakfast.

Don't get a room with a sofabed or if you do complain to the hotel.
Pros:

The daily breakfast was good in that it was consistent. Anthony at the front desk was kind and helpful and went out of his way to help us as did the woman up front with the carpal tunnel brace. We had problems with our room but they were remedied fairly quickly. The hotel was *generally* quiet and checkin and checkout were easy.

Cons:

The sofabed mattress was bad. Like worse than you're imagining. We got to check out one in another room and it was the same. Like painful. Two inches of pointy springs with thin cloth covering it. For $200+ per night that's unacceptable. The hotel genuinely needs to remedy that because even with two pads and two comforters layered on top of the mattress we placed on the floor (you'd get it if you were there) we could still feel the pokey springs. We ended up switching to another room and that one had two queen beds but had a strong cannabis smell. We did a lot of touristy things and were tired every night so we dealt with it.

My stay at Ayres Hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and just what I needed!
Pros:

I enjoyed the tremendous customer service I received during my stay. From the warm greetings and friendly smiles to the helpful housekeeping service, the Ayers staff made me feel welcome and well cared for throughout my visit. The hotel grounds were clean and inviting, and I especially appreciated how fresh and pleasant everything smelled inside.

Pros:

The room was clean and really nice, the cleaning staff were nice as well and helpful they help me with directions to find my room. They made my experience way better. And the beds were comfortable to.

Cons:

I called the day of my booking to see if I can get my room early and they told me i could that my room should be ready around one. So I came around 1:30 and the hotlel reception was no help and was rude about have me wanting my room early. I ended up waiting until 4 than I went to check in and they didn't give me directions or what floor my room was on when i asked the lady just said where my room is facing.

Amazing Place to Stay!
Pros:

The staff, from the front desk, to the kitchen, to housekeeping were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and the hotel was kept in great shape. The continental breakfast was amazing, both in variety and quality! Highly recommend staying here!

Cons:

We really enjoyed our weekend and Ayres hotels are still my favorite place to stay!
Pros:

Loved the pillows and bed- very clean and comfortable. Loved the chest of drawers for folded clothes. Carpet was clean and well maintained and the bathroom was super clean which is something everyone can appreciate! I also appreciated they provided a cook who made the breakfast for guests in the mornings-that was a nice touch! Everything was lovely, from the entrance of the hotel to the little patio area outside of the dining area! Ample parking as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Cons:

While I appreciated that breakfast was served until 10am and the food was nice and hot and tasty, some food choices ran very low before the end of that time and there wasn't much of an assortment or change in options from day to day. We were looking forward to happy hour, which is something other Ayre's hotels provide, but this location did not. Certainly not a deal breaker!
