Austria Haus

Perfect location yo walk to ski lift (4 min), restaurants and shops (within 5 min).
Atmosphere, quiet, good for families and couples, nice lobby area with very relaxing pool and jacuzzi area.
Rooms, our double bed with reading and chimney was ample and well arranged. Good size bathroom with separate tub and shower. It was clean and well serviced daily.
All personnel offered friendly and courteous service and assistance. We where well received and attended.
Good value overall, breakfast can improve to meet what is advertised.

Our experience at Austria Haus was wonderful. It was a small-ish sized hotels that felt cozy and personal, but still professionally run. We loved the fireplace in our room, the fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, the water provided in the rooms, and the extremely helpful and welcoming front desk staff. All of them were extremely kind and helped answer our questions and receive a lost bag that we got delivered to us one morning during our stay. The location is excellent as well--very close to Gondola One and the rest of the village.

I really can’t say enough about Austria Haus. Top notch staff and accommodations minutes from Gondola One. We had a bizarre series of medical emergencies this week, and they handle our situation discreetly and without hesitation. If we had been at any other hotel, we would have likely been miserable. The rooms are amazing, big closets, large bathroom, hooks for jackets and bench for putting in boots. Despite all of our challenges, we had an amazing time, and that is 100% due to the hotel and staff. Breakfast was great too. Do not hesitate, just book it. Snow or no snow, you will enjoy your time there.

Great location in Vail Village. Wonderful staff. Ski valet on the Mountain. This is our go-to place to stay in Vail.

The Austria Haus was perfect! The Austrian decor has a very European vibe. The breakfasts were very nice and we made friends in the hot tub after skiing each day. Paul and Veronica at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful! We’ll be back!

Have just stayed at Austria Haus Hotel in Vail village and it surpassed our expectations. We have been coming to Vail for over 20 years, but had never stayed here. The hospitality on arrival by Paul, the excellent location, great breakfasts that change daily, and very good amenities, all at a fair price made this an outstanding visit for the two of us. The room was spacious and had a very nice fireplace and sofa in the sitting area. Mini frig and coffee maker were also there and the bathroom even had heated floors. The bed pillows were super comfy as well. Putting it all together, and it means we will definitely be coming back to stay here again. Thanks Austria Haus!

Austria haus hotel was just gorgeous. It was quaint and cozy and full of class. The breakfast buffet was so helpful for skiers to get to mountain on time and was really excellent food. Service friendly and wonderful. The rooms were big and gorgeous with robes, multiple towels, a fireplace place and just very roomy. It was a very glamorous place! The hot tub and pool fabulous and overlooking the mountain and gore creek. Would stay there another million times if we could!!!!!

Be sure to book here. It’s a great hotel, amazing staff and a great location. Rooms were clean and nice as well as the property in general. We will be back here again for sure. Thanks for a great weekend!

Easy access to Gondola One, many restaurants within 10 minute walk, slope side ski check made walk easy The included breakfast was a great benefit.

Fantastic stay at the Austria Haus, room was stylish, nice and warm breakfast, walking distance to the lift, went for 1st chair skiing 8:30 everyday, and soaking in the hot tub after the days on the mountain

Great location, near the local regional airport. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shopping. Decent free breakfast, clean room, and fireplace in every room.

Excellent Hotel and wonderful location. All staff went out of their way to answer any questions and make recommendations for dinner or places to visit. Spotless rooms with heated tile bathroom floors. Breakfast is provided and they offer healthy options! Get a room on the back of hotel as street noise is loud. I would definitely stay again.

We had an beautiful stay from our very first interaction with their team. Wish we had chosen the creek side though. Our second floor view was of the eave of the building. Very convenient walk to the town and gondola!

This was our first visit to Vail, and I can honestly say that when we return, I will not look at any other hotels, I will 100% book Austria Haus again. Everything about this hotel is just lovely! The building itself is adorable, and the interior is equally reflective of a quaint European inn. The rooms are well appointed and perfectly maintained. Our family of 5 (3 adults, 2 teens) stayed very comfortably in a room with 2 queens and a rollaway. There was even a nice sitting area with chairs and a cozy fireplace in our room. The breakfast has everything you could ever need to fill up before you hit the slopes, and the food was delicious. The location of the hotel is also superb! It is an easy walk to a number of lifts, and there are so many shops and restaurants right outside your door. This is a smaller boutique hotel, and you truly feel like you are a welcomed guest, not just a number. Every interaction we had with every single staff member was genuinely hospitable and friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! 10/10

The location of the property was excellent. Right in the heart of the town. It was easy to access the transportation centre, get the buses or just walk around.
