wonderful place, wonderful team, very kind. very comfy bed and very clean room, located in the centre of the village.
we had to leave before the time because of issue and they reduct the price even if it was last min.

No hot water, noise all night, and no help from staff

Ideal for the motorsport at Circuit Paul Ricard, everyone at Hotel et Spa Castellet that we encountered delivered service with a smile, nothing appeared too much trouble to them.

Alors 5* veut dire que tout doit être parfait. Eh bien tout ne l’était pas.
- pas de service piscine ou vraiment très peu présent après que beaucoup de clients ont râlé parce que pas de serviettes et rien de débarrassé quand plus personne sur les beds.
- piscine pas très propre
- nous y avons passé 3 nuits et le troisième soir nous n’avons pas eu de service de chambre (donc plus de serviettes, plus de mouchoirs)
- en revanche nous avons dîné au restaurant 3* et c’était extraordinaire
- les chambres sont sympas et la literie confortable
- le petit-déjeuner est super
- le personnel est sympa et agréable
- les frites du San Felice sont surgelées
- et aujourd’hui temps un peu couvert ça devait être grand nettoyage car la piscine pas accessible et tous les beds recouverts de leur housse

Outstanding

This hotel is billed as five star but it is desperately lacking. Apart from a good orientation by Nathan and help from Alex the concierge, staff were either disinterested or rude. The hotel lacked atmosphere despite being full. It was 40 degrees and yet there was no proactive drinks service at the pool. Breakfast was poor with staff having to be asks two or three times for coffee and tea and basics like plain yogurt. When asked if they had any, we were told there would not be any for three days! The rooms were spacious but old fashioned with doorknobs missing. Dinner in the Dan Felice was slow and we were charged for other people’s drinks. The fish was over- cooked and inedible. They have much work to do!

Booked 4 nights of Junior Suite in this place as we need to be near F1 circuit. Read great reviews. Checked in by a lovely lady. Though room was not ready, we went for a swim then had lunch at their bar while waiting. Bar serves enough food all day long. Food is nice too!
Room unfortunately was of funny shape, old and tired. Lots of ants coming from outside the yard, Bathroom floors, doors (stains) and tiles do need renovating. Room is hot even when we turn it down to 18 degrees. Is just a 23 degree permanent setting. I believe is their old air conditioning system hence there's nothing they can do. We didn't have restful nights here as we woke up in sweat. Staff are very nice and friendly, spa area is nice but filled with too many people too often which is not easy to use once it has more than 6 people there.
Outdoor Swimming pool should be larger I mean the length is quite short considering the amount of space they've. Indoor pool is cold and small, 4 strokes you're at the other side. Gym is ok, not a lot of equipments but at least 2 treadmill which are modern. Breakfast is nice however their fruits selection is very poor.
Overall this place needs to tidy up and upgrade its room and air conditioning now that it has become unbearably hot in June.

This is a real treat if you are going to Paul Ricard. The food is spectacular and the vies of the rooms amazing. It has a fantastic pool and Spa. A hear its great for golf players as well.

Quite a stay!

Spent a night at the hotel whilst in the area on business and what a wonderful experience it was. Certainly a paradise to escape to for a few days R&R.

Probably the little things that make the biggest difference, the imposing entrance through the gates and welcome from the staff, the welcome card and mini blender in your minibar with fresh berries etc. was a particularly welcome touch.

The recently 3 starred restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday, but the Sans Felice restaurant was excellent and the service good despite being very busy, including a very large family party. Had it been slow, there is always the amazing view across the valley towards the coast and village of Castellet to admire. Breakfast was equally enjoyable.

Personally, I would have liked a desk to be able to work from in the room, however as it was June, the weather perfect (for a Brit!), the room terrace was a great place to work from as you can see.

Recommend having a car if more than one night.

A blissful address, a beautiful view. Enjoy the peace and nature to the fullest. Delicious breakfast, good food. In short, worth repeating. Visit Cassis, a village nearby. A green nature area with playing facilities for the children.

A resort-style hotel with exceptional grounds. Our suite was overly large for 2 persons but was comfortable, with high standards of housekeeping. Service from first to last was excellent, very warm and professional. Dinner in the main restaurant was outstanding in creativity, attention to detail and execution. Dinner in the bistro was not special. Buffet breakfast is lavish and justifies €45 charge, however the same price should not have been charged for just a few items requested for room-service breakfast. Overall, an excellent hotel experience made really special by every member of staff. Bravo!
Visitors should not miss the Bandol coast and countryside with glorious bays and wineries.

Superbe séjour un hôtel très bien entretenu et un personnel au top

Exceptionnel rien à dire tout est parfait

L’hôtel est bien, mais c’est certainement l’expérience relais château la plus surprenante.
Les prix pratiqués sont ceux des palaces type « la messardiere, la réserve, ou éden roc », le service en revanche n’est pas à la hauteur.
Vous demandez la carte à la piscine, on vous précise qu’il n’y a que 4 plats (la carte semblait loin), on vous les dicte alors sans vous donner les prix.
La surprise arrive : 38€ une tomate burrata, 43€ un burger ou encore 48€ un poke bowl au poisson, pour avoir cela servit dans des boites en cartons avec des couverts en bois et des serviettes en papiers est assez honteux. Les prix et les boites en cartons ont été découverts en même temps.
Mais passons. Demander au concierge un restaurant avec vue ouvert le dimanche soir et en insistant bien sur le fait que cela soit ouvert, puis aller au restaurant pour avoir porte close n’avait jamais été vecu. Demander des œufs benedictes, et attendre 35 min après 3 incompréhensions de la part de la responsable sans savoir que c’était en supplément et qu’aucune carte ne stipulait les prix ce matin là était aussi surprenant. Nos attentes et nos demandes ne sont pas anticipées, la recherche de l’excellence doit être uniquement dans le restaurant étoilé, seul endroit que nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion d’essayer.
Les chambres en rez de chaussées sont particulièrement sombres, c’est un autre détail.
