Great location
Lovely staff BUT the hotel is old and tired , our room had a large hole in the carpet and the room felt dirty , the shower was tatty all fixtures old a/c like a jet engine .
$350 for one night including parking - not good value .
Shabby and not chic. Dated, looks like the last refresh was 2005. The hotel and rooms show lots of wear and tear. Poor maintenance and not cleaned well. Upon checking in to the room, there were crumbs on the carpet and smudges on the mirror. For this "one bedroom premium suite", the bathroom is basic, what you'd expect in a Days Inn. The bed linens are polyester. There is noise from the elevators in the guestroom interfering with sleep; upon requesting a change of accomodations away from the elevator, we were advised that all suites are back-to-back with the elevator shaft. Poor choice for charming St. Pete.
Friendly staff, and clean room
Had to wait one hour after check-in time before a reservation was received
They were so backed up with the rooms people waited for hours to get their room. I checked in at 2:50 and didn't get my room until 7:00 p.m. I was here for a Gala which started at 6:00 p.m. and needed to use someone else's room to get ready. I came a bit early so I could rest after the drive and maybe nap for a little bit but that was not happening. Also the room I had was musty smelling. The bed was very comfortable I slept like a baby and where I was was very quiet. The restaurant was quite good also.
Great experience with valet.
Believe everything negative that you read in these reviews. I chose it because I had the points and I needed to meet with a surgeon conveniently located 1 block away. I figured how bad could it be? I got my answer the minute I walked in and entered a pre-Internet era Time Machine. Everything is faded, saggy and tired. Apparently new owners have bought it and plan to tear it down, but until then Hilton is going to keep it open and treat it like the level of hotel it once was and continue to gauge unsuspecting customers. Don’t let it be you - there are so many other great hotels downtown at a range of price points
Location
Pretty much everything else
No hot water, slow elevators, dated rooms, shower was generally messed up, no microwave, stained lampshades / bedding… fire pit outside didn’t work. way overpriced.
location
valet parking missed to give back our car key and we have to come back
I am writing this review because, despite my status as a Hilton guest and my multiple requests for a follow-up, management has failed to contact me regarding several significant failures during my stay.
While the lobby offers a modern first impression, the reality of the guest experience is starkly different. I had planned to stay for several weeks, but between a work emergency and the unacceptable state of my accommodations, I could not leave fast enough.
I traveled with essential medication that requires refrigeration. Upon arrival, the fridge was non-functional. While maintenance eventually repaired it, the stress of potentially losing expensive, life-sustaining medication due to equipment failure is a massive liability and oversight.
The bathroom was, frankly, revolting. The bathtub had a slow drain caused by a massive accumulation of hair from previous guests. Furthermore, I had to use my own Clorox wipes to scrub the shower tiles before I felt safe stepping inside.
There is a jarring disconnect between the updated lobby and the rooms, which feel neglected and decades behind the brand standard.
I am still awaiting a formal response regarding a partial refund/fee waiver for the nights spent in these conditions. I expect a call within 24 hours to resolve this.
Ok selection
Too expensive for what it was

I was a little worried after reading some bad recent reviews, but the hotel was overall very good. It’s a bit dingy and could use some renovations, so if you are super picky, it’s probably not for you.
However, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location excellent, and the room gigantic. We had a 1 br suite, and it was basically two large hotel rooms in one. Very easy to comfortably spread out. We had a nice view of the water. It’s very walkable to a lot of good restaurants and basically across the street from the Dalí museum. I don’t love having to pay for valet parking, but it seems to be the norm in this part of St Pete, and there was never much of a wait to get the car, plus you can text as you're getting ready to leave and it will be waiting for you. We did not use it, but the pool area was nice.
We would stay there again.
Location. Comfortable beds. Clean.
Carpet in room was ripped. No heated pool. It was freezing. Elevators took forever.

I recently stayed at the Hilton in downtown St. Petersburg and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The first thing that stood out was the friendliness of the staff. Every team member I interacted with—from the front desk to housekeeping—was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that guests were having a great stay. Management clearly deserves credit for creating such a positive and professional atmosphere.
The property itself was also impressively clean and well maintained. The lobby, common areas, and rooms were spotless and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day out exploring the city.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the location. It’s perfectly situated in downtown St. Pete and within a short, easy walk to some of the city’s best attractions. The Dali Museum, the St. Pete Pier, and the main bar and restaurant district are all just minutes away on foot, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy everything the area has to offer without needing a car.
I also have to give a special shout-out to the mattresses—they were extremely comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep each night of the stay. That’s something that really matters when you’re traveling.
Finally, the price point for this location and quality was excellent. For a clean, well-run hotel in such a prime downtown spot, the value is hard to beat.
Overall, a fantastic stay. Great staff, great location, comfortable rooms, and solid value. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting St. Petersburg.
