Lake Powell Resort

- Rooms were dirty, food crumbs all over the carpet, bed had stains, the curtains were filthy 🤦‍♀️
- The shower head was horrendously dirty
- The outdated AC units kept us up all night due to how loud they were

We brought our concerns to the receptionist who didn’t do anything about it while we stayed away to give cleaners time to sort the rooms. We had to go back to the receptionist after a few hours to finally have someone come and clean one shower head in one room.

The receptionist also mentioned that rooms are not cleaned/ beds made during your stay unless you request for it. This service would be charged.


The rooms that face the beach are not worth it because the balcony is too high to enjoy the view while sitting on those chairs. You have to stand to enjoy the view.

Interior is outdated,

Avevamo diversi bagagli e la mancanza di un ascensore ci ha messo in difficoltà. La stanza era molto calda, il condizionatore estremamente rumoroso e impossibile da regolare nella velocità delle ventole. Abbiamo sofferto il caldo e dormito male.

Rooms small,no colours on walls yo go with the wow factor location,the rooms are dated,when you walked into them for the price,should have made you go wow now this is lovely,and had thought put into it for where you are,just like a dull boring brown,cheap motel room doesn't do the area justice

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the service, and, as a result, with the whole experience. Although the views were stunning, I would not be staying there again. It took us more than an hour to check in. The line was enormous and yet only 2 people were working. It look them more than 10 min per visitor to do the check in. There were more personnel there who were not helping with the check in. There were elder people waiting in front of us, as well as people with newborns and yet nothing was done to help them get through the line faster. We also have asked about early checkin and were told that they aren’t allowed to start checkin process earlier even if the room is already available. Overall, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and spoiled the experience

Rooms were very dated. Air cond very noisy. Rooms need maintenance. Coffee machine poor in room. Should do day towell change

Balcony in our room was so dirty, bedding wasn't dressed, blood stains on duvet, unfriendly reception staff

Amenities were disappointing. Their main coffee bar ran out of expresso and all hot breakfast food items by 730 am, just 1.5 hours after opening on a Friday morning. The Rainbow Room wouldn't allow any menu items to be ordered as take out, they charged an extra $30 just to use a rollaway bed, the pools were freezing, I ordered a medium steak at the Driftwood and it ended up being rare (the staff were very happy to have the cook do another steak for me, but even the new one came back as almost well done instead of medium). Overall, we were disappointed in our experience and do not plan on visiting this resort in the future.
