I left angry promising not to return

Close to shops and waterfront

Cons:

Price hike for second night. I tried to book an extra night was quoted and promised the room for $200 at 11pm on my first night but wasn’t allowed to book it then. Next morning price was circa $365. Misinformation from evening staff. Also most elevators not working so long waits.

Great location. Best hotel I have stayed in in Wellington

We didnt use the restaurant so cant comment on that. Great cafes nearby.

Pros:

Super Lage nahe zur Fähre. Sehr nettes Personal und schöne, saubere Zimmer. Auch sehr ruhig trotz Lage mitten in der Stadt.
Zum Frühstück kann ich leider nichts sagen, da ich sehr früh los musste auf die Fähre.

Cons:

Bei booking.com sollte aufgeführt sein, dass die Parkplätze nicht gratis sind. Es fallen Gebühren von 35NZD an. Und dass die Parkplätze stark begrenzt sind. Ich hatte das Glück mir im Voraus einen noch reservieren zu können.

Another great stay at the Ibis Looking forward to our next stay in 2 months
Pros:

Perfect location for our requirements (visiting our daughter who lives nearby)
Check-in was easy and quick
Good wi-fi availability in the room
Didn't hear any noise from adjacent rooms or outside (especially as we were facing the inner courtyard this stay)

Cons:

Curtains let quite a bit of light around the edges, so it took a bit of time arranging them to cut out most of the light each evening.
Fridge needed to be turned off each night as it was reasonably noisy otherwise.
Aircon fan was extremely noisy, however it wasn't needed. Room temperature was constant and good throughout our stay.

An ideal spot for tourists. As an elderly couple we could walk everywhere!
Pros:

The central location near the cable car and museums and historic sites. Also the very helpful, friendly staff.

Cons:

The squeeze jam and marmalade at breakfast. Real lumpy jam in a pot would have been preferable.
