Hyatt Vacation Club at Sunset Harbor, Key West

We really enjoyed our time at sunset harbor. It was the perfect spot for us to recharge. The location is fabulous. The Timeshare Owners are the best, made new friends, and they really made the stay. The staff were helpful and responsive. We do look forward to coming back. Crucial advice to prospective guests, it’s a timeshare property expectations need to align with that, it won’t be a fine hotel or resort. My only criticism to the property is the rooms really need a deep clean and reinstate the mid-week refresh.

Terrible customer service, beware pictures are false advertisement there is no ocean view!

We stayed here for four nights with our family of five in August 2025. I really liked this property. The unit we stayed in was waterfront and it was fun watching the big cruise ships come and go. Yes, the units were a little worn out, but the trade off is mature landscaping around the pool and a great, very walkable location. We stayed here following a few nights at Casa Marina and I was suprised to find that I preferred this property. Good job Hyatt!

Tutto ottimo! Camera bella, letto comodo, bagno enorme addirittura con vasca da bagno fuori terra più ampia doccia. Unica pecca, purtroppo le camere non sono ben insonorizzate. Tutte le conversazioni dei vicini si sentono. Per fortuna abbiamo avuto vicini che non sono andati avanti troppo, e quindi abbiamo potuto riposare. C’è anche la piscina disponibile con gli asciugamano. Colazione solo il lunedì, gli altri giorni disponibile acqua e caffè in reception. In ogni caso intorno c’è a disposizione qualsiasi tipo di bar/ristorante.

We have been staying here for the past 10 years love this place. Very close to everything. very spacious rooms for everyone a full kitchen living room two decks beautiful views we can’t say enough about this place. We usually get one that sleeps six.

We have been coming annually to Keywest for years and decided to book Sunset Harbor to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a larger group of our friends in 2025. We booked way in advance in July for our December trip in hopes of securing this particular resort. In September, we were notified by the resort that our room there had been cancelled due to an ownership member taking our room. The resort did offer a luxury room on the other side of the island away from the rest of a group which would have required us to either rent a car or Uber back and forth to meet our group our entire stay.
Hyatt explained this happens during “high season”. How disrespectful the Hyatt brand is to the consumer. This experience has definitely affected our drive to ever book with this brand again for future travels. Beware and don’t book! The “vacation club members” can have it…aallllll yours! We will take our business to a brand that honors your reservation. That brand IS NOT Hyatt!
