leider ein völlig unprofessionelles Management mit schlechter Organisation, fehlender Problemlösung

Mir hat besonders gut gefallen, dass das Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt war. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und sehr vielfältig, mit einer großen Auswahl an Speisen.

Cons:

Leider war der organisatorische Ablauf eine große Enttäuschung. Bereits beim Ein- und Auschecken wirkte das Personal mit der Situation komplett überfordert. Während meines Aufenthalts funktionierte das Internet über zwei Tage nicht. Natürlich können technische Probleme auftreten – entscheidend ist jedoch, wie damit umgegangen wird. Leider gab es weder eine angemessene Kommunikation noch eine Entschuldigung.Zusätzlich hatte ich ausdrücklich ein Zimmer zum Innenhof gebucht, bekam jedoch ein seitlich gelegenes Zimmer mit deutlicher Lärmbelastung durch die Straße, was den Aufenthalt erheblich beeinträchtigt hat.

Besonders enttäuschend ist der Umgang nach meiner Abreise: Eine Rechnung wurde nicht ausgestellt. Insgesamt war der Umgang mit den Problemen äußerst unprofessionell.Trotz, zwischen mehrerer Wochen Wartezeit habe ich bis heute keine Rechnung erhalten, obwohl das Zimmer bereits lange vor dem Aufenthalt gebucht und per Kreditkarte vollständig bezahlt wurde.Aus meiner Sicht sollte dringend überprüft werden, ob dieses Hotel in dieser Form weiter über Booking vermittelt werden sollte.

Pros:

Parkhaus unter dem hotel, nachdem die Reklamation über dievers Mängel angesprochen wurde konnten wir das Zimmer wechseln.

Cons:

Der Checkin war auch 10 Minuten vorher nicht möglich, mussten alle bis 15 Uhr warten um dann in der Schlange zu stehen, die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert und nur Geräusche gemacht, die Absaugung im Bad funktionierte nicht und wenn irgendwo ein Wasserhahn aufgedeht wurde hat es Knarren oder lauter Geräusche gegeben.

Für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt super! Außer die Klima
Pros:

Sauberes, geräumiges Zimmer. Freundliches Personal an der Rezeption und eine tolle Lage, gleich bei der U Bahn!

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage hat leider überhaupt nicht funktioniert - es war wirklich unerträglich warm im Zimmer (in der Nacht konnten wir daher auch nicht gut schlafen).

Prima hotel!
Pros:

Het was een fijne kamer. Schoon. Bedden waren ook niet slecht. 3 nachten geslapen. Dichtbij het treinstation. Avondeten was ook heerlijk. Ontbijt hebben wij elders gedaan. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel.

Cons:

Eigenlijk geen minpunten.

A cockroach nightmare, serious hygiene issues, AC not working and a complete lack of customer service.
Cons:

Our stay at Mercure Hotel Berlin City was extremely disappointing and far below the standard that was advertised.
We booked two rooms and experienced problems from the moment we arrived. The air conditioning did not work during our entire stay, despite us reporting the issue to the hotel staff multiple times. No effective action was taken, leaving us in very uncomfortable conditions.

The room key cards were another constant problem. They repeatedly stopped working, forcing us to return to reception every time we wanted to access our room. By the end of our stay, we had been given six different key cards, yet the issue was never resolved.

The worst part of our stay was discovering cockroaches in one of our rooms, including on the bed. This was absolutely unacceptable and created serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. I was unable to sleep in the room after finding them. We immediately informed the hotel staff, but again, no satisfactory action was taken.

Although the cockroaches were found in only one of the two rooms, the overall quality of both rooms and the complete lack of response from the staff made our entire stay unacceptable. We expected a clean, comfortable, and functional hotel experience and received the exact opposite.

Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel and are seeking a full refund.

Im Hochsommer nicht nochmal
Pros:

Zentrale Lage, Zimmer sauber und einfach aber gut ausgestattet

Cons:

Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert und das am heißesten Tag des Jahres. Fenster ließen sich nur einen Spalt breit öffnen. Der Lärm der Straßenbahn vor dem Hotel unbeschreiblich.

Nice staff, but amenities weren't that great
Pros:

staff was nice and tried to propose solutions, but those didn't really help that much, seems that they can't really do much.

Cons:

A/C didn't work during a heatwave and their only help was to allow opening the window. They promised someone will come to look at it the next day, but nobody came.
Also the building has seen better days, it is in need of a bit of a refresh.

Foi uma estadia muito boa, que permitiu descansar bem e recobrar as energias gastas.
Pros:

O quarto era muito limpo e confortável, contando com chaleira elétrica e sachet de café. Chuveiro excelente. Pessoal da recepção cordial, inclusive nos passaram dicas de restaurantes próximos. A localização é muito boa, ficando perto da maioria dos pontos turísticos.

Cons:

Café da manhã cobrado a parte e muito caro. Estive em vários hotéis durante esta viagem e este sem dúvida foi o mais caro, não apresentando muita diferença no cardápio dos demais. Custo elevado para lavar roupas.

Well located but quite expensive for a small room
Pros:

The hotel is very conveniently located for public transport, right beside U-Bahn and tram stop Naturkundemuseum. All the staff (except the young man at the bar) were very helpful and friendly. I was allocated a room away from the front of the hotel although it was still on the outside. A room facing the garden inside would be quieter. At all costs avoid a room at the front as the no.5 tram (which runs very frequently from early morning to late at night) makes a hellish noise as it rumbles round the corner.

One of the first things I noticed was the small size of the bedrooms. They're apparently all the same size (just 18 sq m) and this is clearly shown on the website but it is noticeably smaller than any Mercure room I've seen elsewhere. As I was alone there was enough space, for a couple it would have felt a bit cramped. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights during the recent very hot weather. so the air conditioning in the room was essential. What I did notice though was that, when the outside temperature drops at night, the cooling stops and the system simply blows air at ambient temperature. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clearn.

Breakfast is served in the ground floor room overlooking the garden. The choice was good, albeit with a definitely German flavour. If you enjoy a good breakfast, it will be worth paying for. I'd searched for the best overall deal I could get but I thought the overall price for the room was expensive even by Berlin standards.
