I have stayed here before and this property is consistently very good, nice comfortable and clean rooms, executive lounge with friendly staff, no extra parking or resort fees, and convenient location to get anywhere you need to be in south florida quickly

Lovely stay at this property. No issues, no complaints. Everything in the room worked, the bathroom and room itself was very clean, quiet, comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze. Another reviewer mentioned that the local supermarket, Publix, is within walking distance and you have to go under the freeway to get to it, but that's not a problem. We felt safe at night walking in this area. The streets are busy, but the crosswalk signals make it easy to navigate. There's a Subway sandwich place in the same area as the Publix, so as a vegan I was able to get a Veggie Patty sandwich instead of trying to cobble something together from the Publix supermarket. Very handy.

We stayed here as a family for one night after weather caused major flight interruptions.

Itself is beautiful and nicely renovated.
While it was very busy in the lobby the noise did NOT make its way up to our room. We were given room 720 near the elevator which was quiet, clean and comfortable. Ample space for 4. Nice view from the 7th floor. The tub did not appear clean but the linens and towels were brand new. We did not get a chance to use the pool or gym during our stay but it looked lovely!
LUKE at the front desk welcomed us warmly and for our flight disruption and travel hassle offered us free breakfast vouchers. That totally made our night and delighted my children!! Thank you LUKE!!!

Tanyka (curly red hair at front desk) stood out especially but the entire team was great. This place has been wonderful over the past 15 years!

Location was fine.

First off, shout outs to Jorge and Kiran at the front desk for their helpful information, courteous service, and customer centric attitude.

We stayed for three nights and were upgraded to a suite on the 11th floor.

1. The room was fantastic: spacious living and dining areas, a comfortable king bed, a large bathroom, and an amazing view of the pond behind the hotel as well as the Hard Rock guitar in the distance.

2. The sunrise in the mornings was gorgeous, and the lighting on the Hard Rock Hotel guitar at night looked amazing.

3. If you enjoy running or walking, there’s a beautiful loop around the pond behind the hotel, or you can take advantage of the long stretches of sidewalk just outside the property.

4. The club lounge looks great, and the lobby and dining areas are equally impressive. The hotel is in a wonderful location with several restaurants nearby. There’s also an outdoor pool that’s perfect for kids. Parking is free, with plenty of available spaces.

5. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and will certainly return the next time we’re in Fort Lauderdale.

Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Nice and clean rooms

We had a work wonderful visit.
Made a pre cruise reservation for two. I chatted with them a day before and they let me know my request for a suite upgrade was confirmed. We arrived very early and they offered to give me a room immediately or we could wait for the suite to be vacated and serviced. We waited for the suite which was ready at 1:30pm. Nice view and balcony over looking the centres lake. The staff was great at check in and especially the Lounge at breakfast and light dinner. Parking is adjacent and plentiful.
Our transport consisted of an Avis rental car pick up at MIA, an overnight at the Renaissance, a rental car return at the cruise port Avis and an Avis shuttle ride to terminal 26.
We return to Ft Lauderdale in April and will be sure to check out the Renaissance West again!

Writing this review on behalf of my father, Mr. Lee. My parents along with other family members booked a hotel for their stay. When they arrived at the hotel, they realized it wasn’t the one they intended to book. Kendra and Tanyka were both amazing. What would have been a stressful situation, turned into a smooth resolution. They helped waived a cancellation fee, communicate with another hotel and assisted with booking new rooms. Their customer service was immaculate and they went above and beyond for them. Thank you so much! From their daughter - thank you for helping my parents and family. English is not their first language so I appreciate you both going above and beyond!

Beautiful hotel

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-located. The room was thoughtfully designed, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt well-maintained. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant stay, I would happily return.

My experience with the Renaissance Marriott agent was top-notch from start to finish. The entire process was smooth with a seamless transition throughout. Communication was clear, timely, and professional, and the agent truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Every need we had was fully accommodated.
