Ambience was good
Staff attitude..staff audits the customers instead of cleanliness of food served in the dining hall...we noted small cockcroaches crawling in the baked yoghurt
Poor customer experience
great staff
Excellent location and services
They should be more open about the extra charges with room dining and guest should not find out about them at check out.
Great service and great location for a tourist. Good gym
Breakfast was a nightmare. Had to queue and then service was difficult as it was too busy. It makes no sense to have its breakfast venue for a hotel of this size in a shoe box. Plus there was very limited options for western breakfast.
The rooms were okay in size but was 1 level up from a budget fit out. Really very surprising but the bed and sheets were top quality and perfectly clean.
The pool was great but rules were insane. My wife and 2 daughters had to wear a swim cap!?! That is a first time for us in a private establishment.
Overall the stay was great. Staff were the best.
Rooms, cleanliness, sea view.
Breakfast queues
Location is great for Bandra, airport and just being in a quiet part of town.
Tired property, noisy room (MEP stuff not external)
The Taj touch is in the people that they hire. The care for guests, not by being cloyingly sweet but by understanding what guests need and going beyond to make them comfortable. Keshav at Vista was simply delightful - like a family member’s warmth.
The property is now showing some age… rooms need updating. Facilities, decor and general upkeep is a little behind 5-star luxury.
Very good
Location and cleanliness
It's a big hotel with a huge number of guests, but it has the character of a boutique hotel. It's remarkable how personally they welcome you and make your stay work. Breakfast are very good, catering for many cultures. We have stayed many times and all the rooms are very good and comfortable. Because of the hotel's location by the sea, the views are marvellous looking out of the Indian Ocean. A very nice pool and a special pool for children are set in beautiful gardens, with wide lawns, and, believe it or not, tame rabbits, tame turkeys, finches and koi fish. There are two spas for men and for women, with steam room and sauna and plunge pool, and a very large gymnasium. We ate very well in the Indian restaurant, but there were others to choose from.
The staff are quite exceptionally helpful, professional and knowledgeable. The concierges are outstanding and will organise cars to and from the airport which is only half an hour away (more for Navi). It's a short tuktuk ride into Bandra.
We were there out of season and the changing rooms to the pool had been demolished. We must presume they're going to rebuild them.
The hotel lobby was a hustle and bustle centre. Liked it. Floor security was excellent . Utility services were prompt
Not that I didn’t like .. but…. For a large hotel like lands end. …. I felt lobby area was deficient.
Service and ambience
It was not sea facing
The staff genuinely cared and responded instantly to any request. They made the hotel! Very lovely staff across the hotel. Rooms nice and comfortable.
Pool area equipment rusting and old. Forced to wear swim caps?!
Price of room service was criminally high!!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of construction around hotel.
Evevrything and I always stay there
