Lumi Hotel Gili Trawangan

This is the best hotel in Gili T. The cottage rooms are so stylish on the outside, but it's magic is inside. The room was so spacious, staff was very helpful with everything.

It takes 20 minutes with horse car to arrive Lumi from harbor. Lumi is very close the the hardcore party areas like peralgos, and you can watch amazing sunset from hotels beach just across the road.

They have a construction running on site making noises from early morning to late night, some days even after 10 pm. You can hear them from the pool, the rooms, the restaurant and even the beach. To solve the problem, We asked to speak with the booking manager during our stay who has never appeared because it was always “busy” or outside the property. Very poor managing and terrible customer experience. Wouldn’t come back nor recommend it.

Nous avons passé 9 jours au Lumi, un séjour plutôt long et pourtant on ne s est pas ennuyé une seconde. L emplacement est idéal pour chercher la zenitude sans pour autant être isolé. Le cadre est beau, le design moderne et epuré. Le confort est top et l équipe aux petits soins.
Les vélos sont bien entretenus. Pensez à vous équiper de lampes frontales, c est utile à Gili T.
Le sunset à la plage juste devant est magnifique. Et on a croisé des tortues à 5m du rivage. Bref, le bonheur !

Their beach restaurant is just wonderful. The view, the menu and especially their staff make a perfect setting for a family night. We had the chance to have Tari as our server at the Lumi Hotel Restaurant. She was fun, kind and lovely, especially with our 6 year old son full of energy. We liked her so much we decided to come back a second night! Thank you Lumi Restaurant Team for making feel welcome!

I absolutely loved this place, after hustle and bustle at Bali you can simply recharged your battery there. Hotel location is perfect and every day you can witness the most beautiful sunsets ever. Everyone At hotel is super friendly but I would like to mention KARIN. She is extremely professional and customer service she provides in such a natural and charming way was a highlight of my stay there. I must say it was my 5th hotel in Indonesia and far the best and thanks to KARIN my stay there was super special. I cant wait to return and I already recommended it to few of my friends.

Well known Hotel. It worth it every cents. The best sunset view. The best infinity pool, amazing stuff. Drinks are a bit pricey and breakfast average but everything else really amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and also coming back!

I categorically do not recommend eating at this hotel. This is the first time out of my 5-6 visits to Gili that I am upset by the hotel, both the service, the attitude of the staff and the owner, and the service!

After checking Ina in the evening I ordered food to the room. First I called and asked if they had fresh seafood and they said yes, but I decided to double check and go to the restaurant. I was assured that they only have fresh fish! I ordered 2 dishes, 1 grilled perch and the second grilled shrimp. They brought it to my room, I immediately felt a rotten smell, and when I started to open it, I realized that the fish was frozen as well as the shrimp. I asked to bring at least fruit, because I was very hungry, but even the fruit that was brought was not fresh, weathered. This is terrible! The only tasty pastries in the restaurant are for breakfast, and then, apparently, after a couple of days the cook changed and it became completely different! On the last day I came for breakfast and I waited for the waiter for about 15 minutes, while the waiter was just dancing and chatting with the guests near the pool! At this time, the owner or manager, a foreigner, just sat and watched all this! This is disrespect for the business, for the clients and for the investor who invested in this business! By the way, another nuance is the beach towels that are given out only for use in the pool area! That is, you come on vacation to dive or swim with turtles and you need to take a towel with you or buy it separately, because according to the rules of the Lumi hotel you are prohibited from taking it with you outside the hotel! This is petty and terrible! I would understand this in a guest house or a 2 * hotel! I do not recommend coming to this hotel at all. I also wrote a message on Instagram so that the owner could see it, but they even have all messages closed for reading! This is not a customer-oriented hotel at all, but with beautiful area and nice room!

The staff at Lumi were incredible. We loved our cottage. The baby crib was perfect for our 9 month old daughter. We really enjoyed our time there. I feel like they could update their bicycles as they often didn’t have locks that worked for the bikes and some of them needed new brakes.

This is the coolest luxury hotel on the island by far, and definitely has the very best views! We spent every evening on the beds on the beach or in the infinity pool facing the beach so we could watch the sun setting directly opposite us, sometimes with Agung volcano emerging from the clouds alongside it. The vibe was excellent- felt like a very cool adults-only luxury resort, which is probably because all rooms are one bedroom (no family rooms), which suited us just fine for our honeymoon! I’m surprised it’s only categorised as 4-star resort because the rooms (cottages), cuisine and service are that of a 5-star resort! However there is a second restaurant and other amenities opening soon, which might elevate its status even further. The design of the hotel is contemporary tropical chic, with a swimming pool sweeping along the front in line with the beach. I understand a prominent Mexican architect designed it, and it showed. It certainly stood out from the rest.
The staff were all so friendly and fun. Special thanks to Agus, Tari, Karin, Paul and everyone else who made our trip special, including the superb housekeeping team who consistently swooped in to tidy up no matter what time of day we left the cottage and always did a turndown service, including a lovely honeymoon decoration on the bed and a celebratory cake.
We see a lot of high end resorts worldwide for our jobs but this one was truly worth the hype and we can’t wait to come back again one day!

I stayed at this hotel recently and was very disappointed. Cleanliness left much to be desired, with poorly maintained rooms and neglected common areas. In addition, the service was not up to par: the staff seemed disorganized and not attentive to customer needs. I would not recommend this establishment.

Just had the most awesome time at Pinkcoco Hotel in Gili T with my bestie! This adults-only hotel is a pink paradise - everywhere you look, it's pink and fabulous.
Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and wonderful rainforest shower.
Breakfast was a total win - they had everything, including gluten-free options and most importantly cafe style coffee.
We treated ourselves to a spa day. It was one of the best massages I've ever had, and the prices were surprisingly good too.
The staff at Pinkcoco were amazing - so friendly and always there to make sure we were having a blast. Big shoutout to Uni and the crew for being absolute rockstars during our stay!

Fabulous all around! The deluxe cottage was lovely, serene gardens and location. Loved the beach bean bag and table area for sunsets, probably the best on the island. Good breakfast selections, free bicycles. Highly recommend, excellent value for money
