After everyone were very nice and very professional
I checked out before breakfast so I missed it unfortunately. But I liked my room. The air conditioner was strong. Very clean room. The fridge was large and was working. The front staff was very pleasant. Front lobby comfortable.
Noticed furniture getting a tad worn but the bed and sheets were neat and white. Only reason I didn't give an excellent rating.
Wonderful staff and facility.
Staff was polite and did their best considering the hotel itself wasn't in great shape. Room was clean.
Exercise machines not working in the fitness room. "Hot" breakfast was subpar and cold. Pool was showing it's age and not in great shape. Toilet wouldn't flush consistently. No linens available in the room for sofa bed (staff did provide them when asked).
staff was accommodating
property is old
furniture is outdated
hallway had the smell of a retirement home
I like how we were welcome by the front desk and staff.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and need it to be just a little firmer due to my back issues. It would have been nice to have an iron in the room.
I liked the customer service it was pleasant 😁
The rooms had an ordor

Hotel didn’t give prior notice of pool not being open!
Friendly staff
Did not find out the pool was closed until after arrival!
If I could give the Hampton Inn Williamston, North Carolina zero stars, I absolutely would. My stay was supposed to be May 15–17, 2026, but I checked out after only one hour because the conditions were beyond unacceptable.
I had already prepaid in full for a premium whirlpool room:
1 King Alcove Whirlpool Non Smoking Room
Total Paid:
$296.15 plus 21,000 Hilton Honors points
I drove over 8 hours from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after the death of my aunt to attend her funeral and spend time with family during an already emotional and difficult time. Instead of being able to rest and prepare for her viewing, I lost valuable time dealing with one of the filthiest hotel rooms I have ever seen.
The experience started badly the moment I walked in. I had to repeatedly call out for assistance because the employee at the front desk was sitting in the office scrolling on her phone and completely ignored my presence.
Once I entered the room, I did what I always do before unpacking: a full room inspection. Thank God I did.
The whirlpool tub that I specifically paid extra for had mold in it. I cleaned it myself, filled it up, and when I pressed the button to turn on the jets, the whirlpool feature did not even work.
Then things got worse:
• Mold inside the microwave door lip
• Refrigerator leaking water
• A massive black mold growth underneath the fridge
• Dirt, bugs, and trash underneath and around the bed
• Thick dust and grime throughout the room
• Sticky bodily secretions or residue on the desk chair
• Lysol wipes turning brown from simply wiping surfaces
The attached photos speak for themselves.
I immediately contacted Hilton Corporate and a complaint was opened:
Hilton Guest Assistance Case #271559969
After speaking with corporate, I went downstairs to check out. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, the front desk staff became rude and defensive and told me I “should have talked to them first instead of calling corporate.”
To make matters even worse, I was charged an additional $175 for one night on top of the nearly $300 I had already paid and I am STILL waiting for my refund.
Now when I try to contact guest relations, I get stuck in an endless loop with the AI system “Justin,” transferred from robot to robot, only to be told they cannot even find proof my reservation existed.
This entire experience was disgusting, stressful, and deeply insensitive considering the reason I traveled there in the first place. I missed the first hour of my aunt’s viewing because I was stuck dealing with this nightmare instead of being with my grieving family.
This property needs serious attention from management, health inspectors, and Hilton corporate leadership. No guest should ever walk into conditions like this.
