We can definitely recommend Harcourt Arms for a stay on the Cotswolds.
Pros:

Breakfast was very nice with good voices for everyone.

Mattress was too soft.

Completely excellent. I hope to return.
Pros:

The included breakfast was exceptional. Staff polite/helpful. Dining area/bar spacious.

The bedroom spacious and quality of furnishings and bed linen very good.

Cons:

A tiny thing - just four sachets of milk is irritating especially when so much thought has been given to providing a range of teas and a coffee machine

We ate dinner there in the dining room. It was a lovely meal.
Pros:

We loved the charm of the inn. The room had 3 windows with lots of natural light.

Hi, what a venue, what a place and oh my what a room and lets not forget the amazing shower.

Honestly this was an amazing couple of nights in a fabulous hotel - I honestly cant fault anything. I stayed here while on business in the near by area and would say I dont think of it as a business location kind of hotel yet its better. it all started off with a really nice welcome and even being shown to my room and having all the stuff pointed out etc. The first night I was a little late for dinner so picked up a takeaway and they were more than happy to prvide me with plates, knife and fork etc and me eat anywhere I wanted. The first moring I had to leave at right around 7:45 (The breakfast is from 8 - 10 - however Chef made me an amazing bacon sandwich for the road which was waiting for me when I came down stairs. - If you look at my other reviews if something is not right or I dont like something I say so, so take it from me, this place is simply amazing - I cannot fault it.

Cons:

Nothing, it was perfect - seriously perfect.

Lovely old beamed place, log fires and good food, wine and comfy accommodation.
Pros:

Location was great, loved the walks around and about. Breakfast and evening meal were very good and Happy Hour was a bonus. Loved the log fires after a long walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Our room was very near the road, traffic was a nuisance early in the morning, I would ask for a back room next time.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

I booked last minute so I didn't have high expectations. What a pleasant surprise. The staff, the location and the food were lovely. A very clean room and the bed was extremely comfy. Very impressive.
I will be staying again.
