Pros:

The room was spacious and clean

Cons:

The shower was not great in room 1014 - the water pressure was poor and i found it difficult to take a shower, literally had to lean to the wall to get under the water.

Was doable but hard work
Pros:

Proximity to market place and theatres. Rooms nice

Cons:

Hotel a little tired and very dark.Signage really bad particularly around the lift areas. Instructions for shower rubbed off and bath almost impossible to top up without getting out as taps halfway up the wall

A busy and enjoyable week day stay and concert at Park Plaza in the city of Nottingham.
Pros:

The hotel was close to our concert venue, and we consulted Trip Adviser and saw that it had received a lot of positive feedback. The lady on the reception let us check in early and she was very helpful. We requested more tea bags and room service could not do enough for us.
The room was a good size, bed comfortable and everywhere was clean. There is a big student community, but we were out for the evening at a concert therefore the noise from the pubs was not a problem. Once we were in bed, closed the windows and put on the air conditioning we heard nothing and slept very well.
We had a full English breakfast in the morning with toast and pastries. There were even takeaway cups for a hot chocolate to enjoy in our car on the journey home. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend the Park Plaza in Nottingham for a couples weekend or weekday stay.

Cons:

We were satisfied with everything. You are staying in the heart of Nottingham and noise is to be expected. We were on the 7th floor, and the view over the city was wonderful.
