The only reason the hotel gets a 2 is because if the friendly staff at the front desk. Otherwise the rating would be a 1. The beach is perfect. They clean every other day. They did not not make my bed once while I was there. The front desk however, was nice to give me towels and trash bags as needed. I made my own bed as I do at home every day. The floors were so were dirty. I threw away all of my socks when I left because I didn’t want to bring them home. All of my clothes smelled absolutely terrible when I got home from the smell in the room. I washed everything whether it had been worn or not. The whole time I was there I just kept thinking I wished I was home where everything was clean.

Great Beach access!!! Steps from the sand! Breakfast was great- different entrees daily! Staff was very kind and responsive- Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast attendants!
Pool is TINY! Outside of property is lackluster- questioned my booking decision when we arrived before walking in. Heavy construction on the streets surrounding- allow lots of extra drive time!

Older hotel, rooms weren’t as clean as we would’ve liked.
While this is a small and unassuming hotel, the rooms were very clean. Beds are comfortable. The grounds are clean. Beach access could not have been easier and there was not an influx of rental chairs on the beach directly behind the hotel, so setting up our own stuff was a breeze. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to park and use the amenities well before our check in time. It is right at a very busy intersection, so traffic was a little hectic, but that’s not the hotels fault, just something to be aware of!
It was in the perfect location. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Checking in was easy and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable best night sleep I had in a while.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about property. There was only one employee that I thought that didn’t look or act pleasant and it was an older lady working in the kitchen area during breakfast. She may have just been having a bad day.

Some of the staff was very rude. Every other day housekeeping.
All was great! Especially since it was during the 4th weekend. Breakfast hot! Enough room during breakfast time. Staff amazing! Text to let them know if anything needed and was very prompt! No noise!!! Enough parking! Access to beach!!! TV, bed, air all great!! Great smell upon entering room! 10/10. Will definitely stay again when back in fort Walton.
Not that it was a deal breaker, but $15/night parking.
