Not fancy, but just right for us
Pros:

The location is good, the rooms are clean, the service is good, and it has a bar/restaurant. This is a nice solid value place to stay.

I will never return.
Pros:

The location was convenient.

Cons:

The resort caters to the cruise ship clients, not those actually staying at the resort. The beds are like sleeping on concrete. The staff is not welcoming. The rooms desperately need some maintenance.

Me gustó la presión del agua, agua caliente óptima y la ubicación ya que me quedaba cerca de mis mandados

Empezando por la recepción, solo 1 persona para tanta gente, llegaron tripulantes de un crucero de Disney y parecía discoteca y solo una chica en la recepción, donde esta el resto del personal? Siendo un hotel bien ubicado hacer esperar a los huéspedes mas de 5-10 minutos, es inaceptable.

El internet...es un fiasco, estuve en el 3er piso cerca de las villas y el internet apenas llegaba y ese apenas ya es mucho, literal no podía entrar a ninguna página web o hacer videollamada en whatsapp, no se si sea un problema general o sea únicamente por esa zona pero tienen que mejorar su internet si o si

La regadera..se que dije que la presión y el agua caliente es óptimo, pero, la altura...para gente que mide de 1.80m hacia arriba tiene que agacharse..

Y contactos, como es posible que mi único contacto este debajo de esa losa de piedra larguísima?

Love this location. Outside the main drag. Fun more authentic feel accommodations. Quiet, relaxing and just a walk across the street to go diving. Stayed here twice and am a big fan

Great for scuba divers but facilities are old and rusty.
Pros:

Old and rusty yet worth the price you pay for. Be forewarned though that if you plan to scuba dive with their preferred prices reassure you are picking the right one; should you make a mistake, there is no turning back.

My room had only one electric contact, so I had to shuffle amongst my two iPhones, my iPad and Apple watch…

okay, but pool by the road, it very noisy. room was old looking but nice

Had to climb stairs to get to elevator. not explained in description on property,
Wifi very poor!!!
It was suppose be100 percent non smoking, there was night security gaurd by front lobby door and guest was smoking there and there was a cigarette butt in the hot tub, also an ash tray next hot tub

Super Hotel für anspruchslose Gäste, die eine Toplage gleich bei der Tauchschule suchen ohne Schnickschnack.
Pros:

Top Lage, nettes Personal. Sauber und funktional.
Preis ok für das was man bekommt.

Cons:

Die Nasszellen sind in die Jahre gekommen und müssten sicher mal wieder Saniert werden.
Es bräuchte mehr Möglichkeiten nasse Dinge aufzuhängen und trocknen zu können.

This is definitely a dive-oriented resort. I personally would not stay here if I was not diving.
Pros:

Check-in was smooth, the rooms were clean and comfortable...but nothing fancy. The pool and restaurant area are basic. Really, everything about the property is basically good, but not great. The thing that is great is the access to the dive facility across the street and the marina is a close taxi ride away as is downtown. Almost every taxi ride was $10, except for the airport which is $20. The beach club is nothing to brag about. If you are not diving, I would pick a different resort. This is perfect for a dive vacation and a good value for the money. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Pros:

We have stayed here MANY times, always so enjoyable. The staff is amazing, Miguel, Jose, Santos, just to name a few. Housekeeping staff are all so sweet & friendly & do such an excellent job!

Cons:

The beach area across the street could use a little tidying up, but still no issue for us, worked fine.

Treated like family
Pros:

Casa Del Mar is not the glitziest place in Cozumel, but we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. It’s home to us. The people are wonderful, diving is incredibly convenient, (a footbridge from the pool to the dock) and the accommodation are good.
