No frills convenient location especially if diving.
Pros:

Restaurant was convenient and a good value. Rooms are pretty basic and dated but clean. For the price point a good choice especially if diving.

Cons:

The cruise docks are directly in front of the hotel so your ocean view is essentially blocked by 2-4 cruise ships everyday.

Muy buen hotel para bucear
Pros:

El hotel está muy bien enfocado para el buceo.
El ascensor ayuda mucho a la hora de subir los equipos.
Agradable el personal y buenas las instalaciones.
La limpieza muy buena y fuera de la cama, algo blanda para mi gusto, todo lo demás perfecto

Overall I like it. I spend most of the time diving.
Pros:

Breakfast starts at 7 am and is not enough time to get ready for the first dive at 7:20 on the dock.

Cons:

It's a dive resort. Some family members believed that the rooms are dated and it would be nice if the rooms were renovated.

Good place for snorkelling access.
Pros:

Great location for accessing snorkelling areas. Close enough to town for stuff to do there.

Very accomodating
Pros:

We have stayed at the Casa Del Mar in the past and never had a bad experience. They have been doing some updates; new elevator, etc., which made the stay even better. We will stay there again for sure.

Scammed in Cozumel!
Pros:

This man charged me $1790.00 US dollars, when in fact that was the Peso amount. Within only a few minutes, I recognized the scam. I returned the merchandise immediately and he promised that the money would be refunded to my card. What a liar!
My bank researched my dispute and he still refuses to return the money.

I am not giving up! I have appealed the closed dispute with my bank and am waiting on a reply. I have contacted the R.F.C. office and am also awaiting the reply from them. I will be contacting the Cozumel police. I will write reviews on every platform that I can find. I am also contacting the cruise lines in order to post the complaint to warn any other travelers.
I've never been scammed in my life and I will not just stand idly by now.

Location was great food was very good and the staff were outstanding!

Pros:

The location is good, the rooms are clean, the service is good, and it has a bar/restaurant. This is a nice solid value place to stay.

I will never return.
Pros:

The location was convenient.

Cons:

The resort caters to the cruise ship clients, not those actually staying at the resort. The beds are like sleeping on concrete. The staff is not welcoming. The rooms desperately need some maintenance.
