Beautiful property, just a few tweaks would make it perfect!
Pros:

Beautiful property! It was comfortable and felt secure. Having my family together between adjoining rooms was a bonus. The biggest perk was being able to park while we went on a cruise! That was fantastic.

Cons:

I woke up with my back hurting so bad I could barely walk. The mattresses definitely need improvement.

There's an IHOP on the property but not every family has time for breakfast when crunched for time to get to the cruise ship. A Continental breakfast would be good to have.

Its a good hotel, close to everything, staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Pros:

I stay at this hotel every time I am in Metairie. I love how it is so close to everything. The staff is always friendly and accommodating every time I stay there. I like how IHOP is right next door to grab a bite to eat.

Cons:

I don't have a negative review. It's a comment. People need to realize it is an old motel/hotel. It's not a 5 start experience. I think people need to rate accordingly. When I was there, the elevator was broken, but wasn't enough of an inconvenience for me to give my whole stay a negative review. I just walked to the other end of the hotel and got on the other elevator. Simple as that. Also just because it is a little outdated doesn't mean its dirty.

Not worth the price, but decent enough.
Pros:

I liked the pool and that it was connected to an IHOP. The Ihop was delicious!

Cons:

The elevator was broken and the room had a sliding glass door that could be accessed from outside. It was a very shoddy job of keeping it locked. They had a single iron bar from one side to the other and a semi broken latch. Not very great for a downstairs room. The pull-out couch also had a dingy, worn mattress and we had to get bedding for it from the front desk. There was also a roach in the bathroom when I used it the morning of checkout. The price does NOT match the expectation.
