When competitors pull together; serendipity!
Pros:

My thanks and appreciation to the team at the Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow for patience and diligence in helping me get our Spring Team Meeting sorted after the devastating fire on 8 March at the historic Forsyth Building which caused the voco Grand Central to rebook (within 48 hours of suggesting it) our meeting at the Radisson Blu! It’s wonderful to see how business competitors can work together when a disaster occurs; the voco Grand Central and Radisson are shining examples of that cooperation and teamwork.

The Radisson Blu managed to re-create our meeting within 30 days (our start date was 14 April), and everything worked seamlessly. Even with numerous changes, the hotel staff took care to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Transportation from the airport to the hotel was easy (about GBP38 by Taxi). Our Team thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The guest rooms were very nice and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly, professional, responsive, and dedicated to ensure our meeting ran smoothly. The Meeting Room was spacious, A/V was plug/play, and the daily food/beverage were of very good quality with a great selection. They diligently took the (shellfish) food allergies and (Halal, Kosher) dietary restrictions into consideration providing meals that could be enjoyed by all.

It's a terrific location with Glasgow Central Station (train) just steps away and numerous pubs, restaurants, and the Argyle Street shopping district just down the street in any direction.

I definitely recommend this property for both groups and leisure travelers.

Apart from the issues it really is a great hotel
Pros:

The restaurant staff were fabulous and really looked after me during my visit

Cons:

Location is a strange one there is a serious problem in the tunnel under the rail way drug users and homeless makes it feel and is very unsafe this effected my stay a lot

It took me half a afternoon just to check in and was dealt with hopelessly not impressed at all

So nice !
Pros:

It was modern and comfortable. Very boogie

Cons:

Everything good except the fact our tv didn’t connect to our devices but tbh the staff tried really hard to help us with this even offering to move our room. This probably wouldn’t be an issue to most people but we were at a conference and wanted to wind down after by watching Netflix.

Was enjotyable but challenging due to recent fire closeby in another building.
Pros:

Have been to this hotel before. Unfortunatelty there was a serious fire nearby a few days before and check in was challenging due to extra questions to address safety and ability to exit in a fire or emergency.

Cons:

Service at breakfast was not good. Food was quite good but staff removed coffee when I went to get cooked breakfast after cereal. Table next to mine were shocked. I am a bit slow due to mobility and needs to be allowed for. Staff are aware after direct contact with hotel after stay to get receipts.
