Nice hotel but $30/day amenity charge is ridiculous
Pros:

This hotel is nice - but the $30 PER DAY amenity charge is ridiculous on top of a very inflated room price for our weekend. The amenity includes a mediocre processed food breakfast with bad coffee, and the POOL (it is still winter). This is a rip off.

Great visit
Pros:

Just love this hotel - always clean, comfortable, and quiet. In addition, they have a really great gym - it's small, but has the necessities from free weights to equipment, balls, mats, elypitcal, treads, and a working peloton.
The location is also ideal - downtown Los Gatos in walking proximity to the trails, shops and restaurants. Reasonably priced too

Perfect stay in a charming town
Pros:

Loved the location - walking distance to shops & restaurants. The pool & hot tub were an added plus. The room was so spacious & lovely with 2 outdoor seating areas.

Pros:

Love the place, clean smell, nice people, location!!!

Cons:

Please introduce variety to breakfast. It is always the same. I am often at the hotel and Can’t stand the banana bread, quiche collection day in and out.

Mattresses need upgrade too.

Cost of hotel is very high

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay, weather cold, hall ways cold, floor in room was cold. Did I mention we are from FLORIDA! What can I say, anything under 65 is freezing to us....Everything is relative!

Cons:

We enjoyed our stay. Alway everything could be better but I would recommend your hotel.

A Christmas Trip that has left us Miserable
Pros:

Our children live in Los Gatos and we have longed to stay at this hotel. When we planned our trip to attend the annual holiday parade & Festival of Lights we were delighted to get a reservation at Hotel Los Gatos.

This is a green hotel, the air fragrance is intoxicating. The VOC was overpowering. We were unable to be in the room. The gym was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The odor was the strongest there! We had to sleep with the window open and towels stuffed under the door on both sides. What is the hotel masking? We both ended up with respiratory infections caused by the VOC in the hotel.

I normally would NOT write a bad review, I have called the hotel and wrote emails with NO response.

Great location! Super upscale and clean. Rooms were spacious, clean and wonderfully comfortable beds. Bar on site was top shelf and the restaurant was quite busy.

Great staycation/getaway for a couple.
Pros:

We live locally (in San Jose) but the design of the hotel and location made it seem more like a staycation. The location was close to the restaurants we wanted to see. The room was gorgeous and the holiday decor was beautiful. It was such a resting vibe and the staff was great.

Cons:

The only thing I would say is that our door would take a long time to close, and with the hinges you couldn't pull it close faster.
