Pros:

I had a generally good stay at this IHG property, and the room itself was comfortable. The front entrance area was busy with people smoking around the doors at times, which made it difficult to avoid the smell of cigarettes and other materials when coming and going. It appeared that part of the hotel is being used for displaced apartment residents, which may be why the entrance was used for smoking in this Non-smoking hotel. The staff was professional and the breakfast service staff was exceptionally efficient and nice.

Leisure stay
Pros:

Tucked back away from the main road, but still convenient to restaurants and shopping areas. I-91 is close as well

Pros:

It was nice. AC worked well, and the bathroom was clean. Beds were spacious. Extra requests were accommodated. The dove products smelled nice.

Cons:

The breakfast was not well run. The food was cooked in small batches and undercooked or burnt. There was a constant line of people due to the wait. Staff were clearly annoyed. Ultimately, we stayed there because of the free hot breakfast. It was very disappointing.

Safe location
Pros:

Its location and was clean and well stocked.

Cons:

Gym equipment didn’t work. Disappointing rates. It’s unfortunate that when a reservation is made and find another rate less expensive, it can not be honored and matched. And rates double on the weekend. I wound if my hospital did that to your family that are inpatient if that would be good customer service.

Exemplary!
Pros:

I’ve stayed at this Holiday Inn Exoress before and had an amazing experience with staff, quietness and cleanliness including the delicious variety of breakfast items. This last visit was due to the holidays and my family living in the area and the quality of service was phenomenal and staff go above and beyond expectations especially the manager Andrew and staff member Chris. Highly recommend for value and comfort.

Overall the stay was fair
Pros:

I enjoyed the breakfast

Cons:

Well our room was a little smaller than i anticipated and our door had large gap (top and side). This gap allowed us to hear more clearly conversations on the outside and the door was hard to open and close.

Pros:

Location, perfect for our needs, beds extremely comfortable, good breakfast and coffee,

Cons:

Only problems were that it would have helped to have carpet as in winter salt and snow tracked in making floors slippery and not good on bare feet going to bathroom at night.
