Pros:

Location of hotel is great but the hotel itself and staff leave a lot to be desired. Hotel and rooms are dusty, gentlemen at reception not helpful. even after paying for breakfast we were told they cant pack us a few things for a tour early next day where we would miss breakfast. Where as is in amalfi the hotel packed so much food to take with on morning of transfer as we would miss breakfast.

The rooms were also dusty and outdated.

Pros:

Great location. Large size rooms. All staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included.

Cons:

For a four star hotel, I did not expect paper cups for coffee and a plastic tumbler only in room to drink out of even in a standard room. 10 stairs to climb from front door to lift.

Mi è piaciuto tutto. Il personale gentilissimo, la struttura è in centro città in posizione veramente strategica comodo a piedi per tutte le attrattive di Firenze, pulizia ottima e la colazione molto variegata e con prodotti ottimi. A tal proposito un ringraziamento particolare alla Signora addetta alle colazioni gentilissima ed efficiente che ci ha dato anche ottimi consigli sulla visita della città

Terrible do NOT STAY here ! ( we compared our experience to someone else leaving on the same day and they agreed with us

I thought it had misrepresented the quality of the premises -there was no real reception hall, no palazzo feel beyond high ceiling and a few chandeliers and the decorative detail as very underwhelming! As I paid 3times the aberage for this fort of room in any other part of central Florence h wouldn’t stay there or ever recommend it.

Cons:

Moreover the breakfast was very disappointing -with orange cordial ( no freshly squeezed juice) ; stale croissants and dried out scrambled eggs! It resembled a 2star offer - it should be stripped of its 4, stars as the price we paid for one night 363 euros) appeared exorbitant in comparison with other hotels in Florence!

Pros:

Booked an upgraded double room, got a very small room as they got our booking mixed up with someone else, who them got our room, when we went to leave they said our car was ready for pick up, had to wait another 20-30 mins for them to keep telling us the bus boy was here for payment, never saw him, just paid at the desk (which we weren't told was something we could do) and just left

La ubicación excelente.

Cons:

El desayuno no mal, pero mejorable. La habitación no había forma oscurecerla, las cortinas estaban a mas de una cuarta de la venta y por los lados se filtraba todo. La tapa del WC muy rota.
Pero lo peor, lo NO AVISADO, un gran tramo de escaleras para ir de la planta calle al ascensor y otro gran tramo para ir de la planta 4ª que era la última a donde llegaba el ascensor a la planta 5ª donde estaba mi habitación, no tuve mas remedio que aceptarlo porque llegué a las 1230h de la noche y a ver a donde iba. Pero la reclamación está hecha.
