Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Location was great.

The check on process was quick, but the front desk team member who checked us in did not offer any additional information about the hotel, such as lobby bar and restaurant, gym, or pool. Unfortunately, we were initially given a room for early check in which did not match our reservation- they gave us two queens instead of 1 king. We had to come back down from the eighth floor to straighten this out, and were given rather hard time about the availability of another room that actually matched our reservation. They wanted us to wait another hour until a room is cleaned for us. I explained this defeats the purpose of an early check in and asked if I would get a discount on the fee for early check in and was told no. The manager on duty argued with me that an early check in is not at 12 pm or later (but rather any time between 8am to 3pm), even though we paid for that additional perk and that's what the website indicated. After at least 5 minutes of argument, they finally gave me a key to another room, WITHOUT telling me that it was ready- I was still under the impression that we are waiting an hour for it to be cleaned. I had to come back to the front desk AGAIN to get information. Finally, the "city" view from the room we paid for was subpar, as our room's window looked out directly at a parking garage building and one had to stay right by the window in order to see the city view. I specifically came back to this hotel for the views and the Hyatt experience, and unfortunately I was disappointed.

Laura Smith made my experience 100 times better. She was able to answer all of my questions and guide me to the perfect dinner spot! She also made sure all of my accommodations were met. Highly recommend going there!

Great experience. Exceptional customer service. Had a minor issue at check-in, and the staff were very helpful in making things right.

Really poor, check in took forever, zero customer service. Room was just ok, no shower pressure, doors slam shut and restaurant ridiculous overpriced. Zero communication at check out, so so bad, never again

The views, proximity to Manhattan and the staff. Great place.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City very much. So convenient having access to the PATH right at the front door. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant and the view was spectacular. The food was very good and the waitstaff were very attentive. The housekeeping staff did a remarkable job keeping our room tidy and making sure we had everything we needed. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient.

Views across to Manhattan were fantastic. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Hotel is clean and in great condition. PATH is right next door so easy to get into Manhattan. Would love to visit again.

Great experience, the front desk went above and beyond and gave us extras as it was my wife's birthday. The valet parking situation is not great, $55 a night without in and out privileges kind of does not make sense. They seemed a little under staffed at breakfast. Incredible location and loved the smart hotel rooms, they are designed really well.

Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing compared to a previous visit. Check-in took a long time due to limited staff, and no information was provided about hotel facilities or amenities. I later had to return to the lobby just to confirm breakfast and parking details.
Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel regarding parking and was given inconsistent information. As a first-time guest, parking instructions were unclear, and due to this confusion, I ended up unnecessarily paying a self-parking fee.
The pool had no towels available at all. During breakfast, beverages were not offered, and service was significantly delayed until we asked.
Overall, the service felt less attentive than during my previous stay. Better communication and staff support would have greatly improved the experience.

The soundproofing was terrible, and it honestly felt like the people next door were in the same room as me. We could hear everything from the next room at 3 a.m., and my kids couldn’t sleep. It may not the best place for family

Wonderful view and easy PATH train ride to W.T.C and more. I highly recommend this Hyatt Regency. Thank you! I will stay here again.
