Breakfast at the Hyatt
Pros:

Hyatt Regency on the Hudson breakfast was wonderful. I was created with a great smile by Nay…and then was served by friendly and professional Jelyn. Everything was top notch and it was a pleasure getting to know Jelyn!

Absolute Gem!
Pros:

This is a gem of a hotel. Right on the water, I felt like I was on a boat without the movement. Had a view of the Statue of Liberty from my room, so close to the Path train that takes you into Manhattan in 10 minutes for $3.25. Great restaurants and walking paths nearby and felt very safe near exchange place. Cleanest hotel I have stayed at in a while, staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pros:

we hosted a party with over 250 guests, we had event planners and outside caterers. through out the process, we noticed difficulty in getting responses from the event planning tea, at Hyatt. Hyatt servers served wrong food to the tables during dinner. sometimes the same table got multiple dishes of the same and other tables didn't receive any dishes. halfway though the party, Hyatt servers locked the refrigerators and left food inside that was waiting to be served to the guests. Never imagined this kind of service after spending a lot of money

Nice place.
Pros:

Clean comfortable and close to ferry with great views of New York skyline.

Misleading with car parking fee as booking states 27 dollars per day we was then charged 54 per day.

An urban w/a pool is a gem; mgnt just closed it.
Pros:

Convenient to a 10 min Path train to the WTC and multiple subway lines to get anywhere in NYC, the Hyatt Regency Jersey City offers what no hotel in Manhattan can: an iconic view of the city skyline.

It used to offer a pool - an amazing and enviable rare-gem amenity for an urban hotel. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at this property and sent many thousands more by referring colleagues because of that pool. Sadly, it is closed and is being turned into a meeting room - a foolish move on the part of management. They should have queried regular clients to learn how important that pool was to our hotel choices.

Breakfast is a pleasure. Decent espresso and food (albeit the bagels need a serious uograde). The service is superb. I always try to sit in Prabhat's section. His gentle welcoming smile is my morning sunshine. If I am on property for a few days, he remembers my coffee and juice preferences by day 2. His quiet attentiveness feels like a friend who cares, but merely food service. Seek him out; he will make your stay memorable.

Pros:

Had a terrific experience when I decided to drop in to grab breakfast.. The view was fantastic at the restaurant and my server Jelyn was so attentive and very sweet! The food was perfect- ordered off the menu and had yummy eggs and the chicken sausage was delicious.
