Had such a lovely Mother’s Day Brunch! Jelyn our server took such great care of us and helped make my day extra special! Also, received a lovely a rose to add a pretty touch and took pictures with their beautiful backdrop! Ended our brunch with pics, city views, priceless memories, and all smiles! Ty for making my day extra sweet!
Location on the water was very nice with a beautiful view of the NYC skyline. Everything was great except parking situation. Valet was extremely slow and understaffed the whole weekend.
We had great breakfast at Hyatt, thanks to Jelyn for making it so special!! She was very kind and welcoming. She made sure our morning was special.
Great hotel with amazing views of NYC and a fantastic location. Overall condition of the property was good, staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great. Everything came out as expected. Jelyn was very attentive and kind.
Location to port bayonne
My issue isn't with the room. It's Being charged 2 times and I can't get anyone to help. I've been sent on phone to accounting and front desk. I've sent voicemails and sent emails. Noone at all will try to help with this. I haven't been acknowledged at all, so I had to file a complaint with my credit card company. I even have proof of both payments paid. 1st through Booking .com when I booked it in July 2025, then they charged again on May 1,2026 after my stay April 28,2026.
We've stayed at this location a few times when we come up to NYC. It's right next to the train which is very convenient and it has a gorgeous view of the city. The restaurant is also great and our server Jelyn was such a delight! I'd highly recommend staying here.
Jelyn was absolutely an amazing server. Our interactions with her were nothing short of perfect. Always made sure we were taken care of, very friendly, and polite.
Pyablat was our Server in the 3rd floor restaurant and lounge. He and his associates did a fabulous job and recognized our preferences from the previous day.
Jelyn is the model of customer service. She went above and beyond to make my birthday breakfast meaningful. I’ll never forget the Kindness she showed.
Beautiful location with excellent view of the Hudson . This is what I woke up to the whole weekend. And it's beautiful in the evening.
Outstanding service and food in the restaurant. The staff, Jalyn and Gabriel, did an excellent job!
very convenient. Hotel is located right next to the NJ path Exchange place station. the rooms are newly renovated. It is very clean. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
I received a proactive room upgrade to an upper floor with clear views of the Hudson River, the downtown skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. The property's location is both convenient and quiet.
This was my second visit to the Hyatt Regency Jersey City, and my first since the recent renovations. The updates are highly practical and well-executed. During my 7-night stay, I appreciated the new room layout and furnishings. Useful features included plenty of electrical outlets for multiple devices, a large TV with wireless screen casting, and a spacious bathroom counter for toiletries.
Housekeeping was completely reliable throughout the week. During extended stays, service quality can sometimes vary from day to day, but my room was thoroughly cleaned and properly restocked every single day without exception.
Breakfast at the Vu restaurant was a highlight, particularly the service provided for Globalist members. One server, Jelyn, was highly attentive, remembered my daily order, and provided prompt service while working effectively with her colleagues.
The restaurant staff and management also demonstrated strong teamwork. During a busy breakfast shift, a server sustained an injury requiring immediate medical attention. The restaurant manager promptly stepped in to cover the server's section, ensuring the meal service continued smoothly without interruption. The team showed genuine concern for their colleague's well-being the following day, which reflects a highly supportive and professional workplace culture.
Overall, the staff at this property provided a highly reliable and comfortable Globalist experience. I plan to return for future visits.
My family tagged along on my wife’s business trip to Jersey City. This is her go to hotel when she is there. It is centrally located in the business area of Jersey City. Though Jersey City is a nice city, my family was more interested in seeing Manhattan. This hotel is located on a pier on the Hudson River and some rooms have sweeping views of lower and midtown Manhattan, probably a better view than most hotels in Manhattan. Its location is also right next to a PATH subway station. If you are familiar with the PATH and the NYC subway systems, you can get from this hotel to lower Manhattan in 5 minutes and to midtown in under 15 minutes. If you are visiting the Statue of Liberty, it is also a short 10 minute uber ride to the Jersey City Statue of Liberty Ferry port. This port is for those visitors from New Jersey but you are free to take the return ferry to Battery Park Manhattan after your visit which is what we chose to do. The New Jersey Ferry port is also located next to the New Jersey 9/11 memorial called “Empty Sky” and a magnificent former railroad terminal. These two places are sites by themselves.
The hotel was recently renovated and looks new inside though the escalator at the entrance was broken during our entire stay which was a minor inconvenience. The restaurant is also newly renovated and has very nice views of Manhattan. We only had breakfast at the restaurant which was the standard buffet spread but the food was replenished regularly and service was good. Rooms in this hotel are considerably larger than in most hotels of this level inside Manhattan.
I would stay here again in my travels bring me to Jersey City or NYC.
