Great for a weekend getaway
Pros:

Great location for access to Manhattan and easy travel. Nicely updated hotel with good amenities. Great restaurant overlooking downtown Manhattan, even had a view of the Statue of Liberty from our room! Really great location for access to the city - just one stop on the PATH train from exchange place (steps from the hotel) to the World Trade Center.

Spectacular skyline views
Pros:

First time staying at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City and will definitely be coming back. I usually stay in Manhattan but had a Hyatt free night award (category 1-4) that needed to be used before the end of the year. And holiday season was the best time to use it. I love that the drive to the hotel from DC was hassle free, self-parking was inexpensive and the PATH station next door made it super easy to get into the city. Within minutes we were at the Oculus. The hotel room is lovely, modern and spacious and the views from the pier are SPECTACULAR. It was nice to walk around the area (crowd-free) in the morning before heading into the city. I could spend forever looking at the skyline.
