Sun & Ski Inn and Suites

This is my first time at Sun 'n Ski. Over the course of a year, I'm up to Stowe to ski, visit friends, summer golf, and clear my mind from suburbia. Over the past 30 - 35 years, I and my wife (though I flew solo this visit) have stayed at several other hotels, resorts, motels and rentals in the area. First, I love to ski. When I ski, I rise at 5:00 A.M. for first/early chair. At the end of the day I need recovery, a meal, and sleep to resume the next day's pursuit of happiness. Sun 'n Ski filled those needs very, very well. The property is rebuilt over the past 10 (?) or so years and is modern and well maintained. Staff helped me choose a king room that met all my needs. In the room facing the Little River, sleep came easily. I didn't bowl (quads, glutes, and thighs - Please!). The staff are helpful, efficient, cordial, and pros in all ways. I recommend Sun 'n Ski with reservations - for my next ski vacation! It was great.

We love this place! We have stayed before and it's such great value to be so close to the mountain. We also love that we can pull our car right up to the room to load skis in and out. We stayed on the newer side this time and it was AMAZING. Tons of storage for all of the SKI stuff and we loved everything about it, including the simple included breakfast.

Everyone is very, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was high quality and something I made sure to get every morning (fresh greek yogurt, fruits, muffins, cheese, and danishes). The new hot tub was a huge upgrade from before, although for some reason it was not quite as hot as we would like and other groups would have liked. We come here every year for good reason and will continue to come back. We stay in the cheaper lofts, which at this point could use some TLC (specifically the bathrooms), but I am sure that's in the works with how much they have been updating the hotel. One suggestion would be to put some type of rack by the front door for either jackets or snowboard/skis because even with 5 people the room gets crammed very quickly and it would be nice to have all your gear ready to go out the door for the next morning.

Spotless, spacious and convenient location on the mountain access road to Stowe. Sun & Ski is located in the sweet spot between the Stowe ski resort and Stowe town village, giving you easy access to the best of both venues.

My room in the renovated wing was impeccable. Many power outlets and the TV has hundreds of live tv (including HBO and sports channels) and streaming services.

Lots of storage cabinets space to spread out too. The listing said there are EV chargers on site but have been removed. Luckily there are 4 6kw paid chargers by SWTCH across the street ($0.50/hr + $2.00 svc).

Ordering from the restaurant is convenient and fast with the QR code. You can have your food delivered to your room or at the venue, pay à la carte or add it to your room bill.

I’ll definitely stay here again for my next Stowe trip!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the dog friendly atmosphere. Our dog was welcomed and enjoyed his stay as much as we did. The junior suite was a great size to hang out and relax. And the extra touches like dog treats, free hot beverages/cookies, and a room with a fireplace all added to the cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Employees at front desk were very friendly, helpful and hospitable and made our stay very enjoyable. The room had everything we needed, it was comfortable and clean.

Comfortable and recently renovated rooms. Convenient location. Above all, excellent customer service. From check-in to check-out, the team goes out of their way to assist guests and ensure a pleasant experience. They went above and beyond by doing something special for my daughter, who was celebrating her birthday and experiencing snow for the first time. I recommend them 100%. Thank you, Sun & Ski Team!

Everything!!! The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great! The mini golf course was so cute and fun! We loved the hot tub too! The nightly campfire was a great bonus and nice outdoor furniture by the beautiful river in the back of the property, The front desk personnel were the best, especially Ethan who we really liked! (Congratulations Ethan!) We will definitely go back again!

Sun and ski inn was quite literally the best inn I have ever stayed at! The receptionist was extremely warm and helpful, and the property was also beautiful. They had a mini golf course right outside, which was incredible as well! There was also a campfire (as well as cookies and other amenities at the front desk). The rooms were also two stories tall, and each can house up to 10 (maybe 11 if you squeeze in the couch) people. The bathroom and kitchen area was also super clean. Even though we only stayed there for one night, I would give the inn more than 5 stars if I could!

Love that it has bowling and putt-putt golf on site. There is a lovely creek you can relax at as well as a fire pit with chairs. I know they are building new rooms and I hope that will bring some life to it.

Wonderful location! The team members were friendly, engaged in conversation, and provided great customer service. They provided suggestions for good places to have dinner, when we inquired.
The coffee and “snacks” in the lobby were appreciated.

It was great except for no hot water, which was out of your control. Thanks
