Cat ba Paradise Hotel

The hotel is located in the city center. The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there’s a beautiful view from the top of the hotel. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool and the rooftop bar with a great view.

Absolutely fabulous. The best massage I've ever had in wonderful, clean environment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay at Cat Ba Paradise! The service was excellent, meals were delicious, and the café in the basement quickly became my favorite spot. Huge thanks to Trang, Dat, and Tien for organizing such memorable Lan Ha Bay excursions.

Very convenient location, quite comfortable facilities. Great service in organising transportation from and to Hanoi, at very good price.
Trang was also very helpul in arranging an excursion hiking with boat trip.

Transferred here from another hotel because of the skybar and pool. While there is a massive construction happening in front, the view from the skybar is still ok. The staff are nice. Breakfast is ok. Food served by the skybar which is also available at ground floor restaurant is good. My complaint is that I saw small cockroaches at bedroom and at 2nd floor restaurant. Hotel should address this.

Staff was amazing and super helpful. We showed up last minute without booking, and he still managed to accommodate us. He quickly arranged a day tour and even helped us get a bus back to Hanoi. Really appreciate the support - highly recommend staying here!

We booked a large room with sea view. Beds are comfortable, the air con works and the shower is hot. Some slightly quirky features in the room such as the plug points are limited and are not in the most convenient places. Breakfast was OK. Reception staff could be more friendly and a bit more welcoming. There is a large construction site in front of the hotel, which is not particularly noisy, but nevertheless massively impacts the sea view. Overall a comfortable stay for a couple of nights but not 4 star standard, especially on service.

We truly enjoyed our time here, mainly thanks to our host, who was so kind and helpful. Just a short walk to town made it even more convenient. The hotel had a very welcoming vibe, with a spacious room and a comfy bed that made us feel right at home.

Many guests do not follow the no smoking policy in the hotel.

Had to change rooms due to cigarette smell coming through vents.

Would not recommend for non smokers/family.

Also note the bay does not exist anymore, with major construction underway.

This place is a total win! The views of Cat Ba are just incredible, and the hotel itself is spot-on. The rooms are modern and comfy, and the staff are super helpful, always ready to lend the hand. It’s an easy walk to the harbor and tons of restaurants nearby. Loved every bit of our stay and already can’t wait to come back. Totally recommend it!

This hotel was perfect - great location, just a short walk to restaurants and where tours to Lan Ha Bay begin. The staff were truly exceptional, always attentive and caring. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and finished to a high standard. Overall, it was excellent value for money!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat. The spacious rooms were spotless, and the panoramic views of the ocean and nearby islands were breathtaking. The staff were kind and courteous, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Don’t judge a property by its pictures. The property offered early check in which was nice. The property is across from a four year construction project. Not their fault but also not mentioned in write ups. Huge eye sore. Noisy. Work was late into the night. No beach access so had to walk or shuttle .4 miles to closest beach. Roof top pool needed shocking and vacuuming, algae was present. The bathroom shower had mold growing in it and needs a good scrubbing. The staff were pleasant and helpful when asked questions. Towels were readily supplied as no beach towels available. Although rooms were non smoking the hall way was clearly not and reeked of smoke. For the price compared to other properties in the area, this certainly was not a value for the money. Breakfast was included and plentiful.

The staff made us feel truly welcomed. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - ordered from a menu with both espresso and Vietnamese coffee options. The lovely servers and beautifully decorated dining room made the experience extra special!

Great budget hotel with a large, air-conditioned room that was perfect for my stay. The manager was incredibly helpful - got me a cheap scooter rental, sorted out bus tickets, and even helped with laundry. The rooftop bar and pool were a bonus, offering amazing views of the bay. Had a fantastic few days on the island thanks to the warm support here!

The hotel receptionist provide outstanding service, going out of his way to help us book tours and share useful tips about things to do in Cat Ba. He also offered us a fair price for our room, which was clean and well worth it. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

The Sky Bar is a highlight, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the bay. Whether enjoying a sunset cocktail or a late-night drink, the atmosphere is both vibrant and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to end the day. Highly recommeded!
