Hotel Valencia Riverwalk

Lovely hotel on the Riverwalk. Would like to give a shout to Tara, who checked us in and out of the hotel. Her genuine interest in making sure our stay was perfect was above and beyond.

Tara at the front desk made us feel welcome as we checked in. She took care of all our needs with a smile and helped us navigate our walk to our destination on the Riverwalk as well as answering all our questions. She is a wonderful employee and a credit to your hotel.

Loved our stay here. Beautiful property and wonderful service. Highly recommend.

Reception member was fast, friendly, and truly welcoming. Bar staff was great. They were knowledgeable, hospitable, and made amazing craft cocktails! Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Valencia for making our stay special.

We held a corporate conference at the Hotel Valencia Riverwalk and we were impressed from the very beginning to the very end. In a world where Customer Service is hard to be found, the Hotel Valencia set the standard. Roger, Tara and staff at the front desk were accommodating at every turn. The hotel was at full capacity and yet it ran like a well oiled machine. The valet remembered names and were prompt with every request. Jaime, Sergio and Gregg took care of each group meal with excellence in presentation and kindness. They all went above and beyond during our stay. Even the manager was seen quietly serving in any and every capacity when needed.
The hotel itself was clean and beautiful. The location is perfectly set in the middle of the riverwalk bustle. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a step above the norm.

Staff, facilities, and location.

Noise! Apparently the San Antonio Spurs won a basketball game (not a championship) and the town goes crazy revving their car engines and honking their horns like they won the Superbowl. The locals drive by the hotel and keep it going for about 2 hours - 10 PM to midnight. While this is not the hotel's fault, it ruined the stay. We left at two in the morning after the cars were gone. We were impressed with the hotel and staff until we tried to get some sleep. The hotel said they reported the issue to the police but apparently the police don't think it's a problem since the honking continued for so long. We will never stay here again.

Service was exceptional! From the front desk when I checked in, who was able to answer any question I had, to the room service, hands down the best! The room was very clean and relaxing. I did want to grab a scent for a family member but forgot at check out. Will have to call and get that for certain.

I had a great experience at Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. The staff was awesome, very kind, courteous, and welcoming throughout my stay. Tara was especially helpful and greeted me with a warm smile, which made the experience even better. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would gladly stay here again.

The property is beautifully decorated. The staff and their customer service is top notch. The location is ideal for walking to explore the riverwalk area.
Beginning at check-in we could tell that customer service was a priority. Tara was helping us but my printed confirmation was a day different than their system and they were fully booked. Manager Edger to the rescue. He honored our confirmation and we headed to our room. The room was a nice size and well appointed. A large selection of drinks and snacks, for purchase. We could have used a few more hangers so I left a note for our housekeeper, and the next day we had more hangers. Thx Rosa! The valet/doormen were friendly and courteous. I don’t think we ever had to open the front doors entering or exiting for our entire stay. We had several working meetings during our stay. The food and service were excellent for each event.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Valencia Riverwalk for business or leisure travel while in San Antonio.
