Absolutely loved the hotel! It was georgeus! But the pillows suck and it’s on the boring side of the Riverwalk.
Pros:

I loved that the bathroom had a large vanity big enough for a girl who loves to do her makeup and hair with ample space to lay everything out. The shower was big enough for 2 people to stand in and the shower head pressure was amazing! The shower also had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers to use. The room had numerous outlets around the room and on the lamps so finding one was never an issue. If you get hungry for a snack the room had drinks, snacks, candy, and champagne for you to charge to your room.

Cons:

Walking into the hotel there are no signs that tell you the check in desk is on the second floor. I was walking around lost looking for someone to help me then decided to walk up stairs. The room thermostat can only go as low as 65 and as a woman who is always hot this was a big problem for me. The pillows were absolutely horrible!!!!! We each had 2 but they are so soft I felt like my head was directly in the mattress. Lastly the hotel says it’s in the Riverwalk but it didn’t say it’s on the boring side with nothing to see. I thought it was going to be in the side with all the restaurants and action but it was not.

Beautiful, clean, boutique hotel in the heart of downtown San Antonio!
Pros:

The Hotel Valencia is a beautiful property along the San Antonio Riverwalk. I loved the Spanish style decor, the helpful and friendly staff, and the cleanliness. My room was spacious, comfortable and cool. You really appreciate that when it's 103 F outside. The hotel has direct access to the Riverwalk just steps outside the restaurant, and I enjoyed a late afternoon walk there. The reason for my stay was to attend an event at the Empire Theater and it was literally right around the corner, so the location was extremely convenient.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like is that the hotel gift shop website no longer sells the Bergamot & Tea Leaf bath products. They are amazing!

NOISE-from refurbishing floors during the evening (was so loud you couldn’t hear each other speak in the restaurant and you couldn’t sleep in your room) to having to have my room switched due to loud neighbors-only to have the new room be worse-much better security is needed!

Pros:

We arrived early and figured we’d lounge and take a few drinks, but the room was not even ready during check-in time… you were late room 1. 20 min

Once we entered the room, we went to the restroom and there wasHair in shower … we went to the courtyard and on our way we bumped into a few Roaches
I was gonna get a few drinks in our room‘s refrigerator, but went to the ice machine and it was Broken (out of service)
- Broken water machine gym
- Pipes in our restroom made Loud noise
All these issues were reported to management

Cons:

Was disappointed at its entirety.
