In that stay I must tell you that the stay was excellent.
They have upgraded my room and it was wonderful.
Front office staff were very cooperative.
House keeping was excellent and kept the room very tidy.
Restaurant staff were very friendly, and supportive.
Very nice neighbourhood and nice mall within walking distance.
Value for money, though the season was a bit busy period.
Even after 4 months when contacted hotel team for a particular reason, the team was responding with sincere effort and fulfilled my requirement. A big Thanks 🙏

I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Barcelona on Avinguda Diagonal end of April 2026, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the reception team was incredibly warm and welcoming – truly set the tone for a great stay.
The staff throughout the hotel were always helpful, professional, and genuinely kind, ready to assist with a smile. It's rare to find such consistent and heartfelt service.
A special shout-out goes to the breakfast offer – it was absolutely wonderful! A great variety of fresh, tasty options to start the day right. Whether you prefer something light or a full hearty meal, there's something for everyone.
The location on Diagonal is perfect too – close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Comfortable rooms, clean facilities, and a great vibe overall.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. I'll definitely be back!
We rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that we feel others should be aware.
We are both in our 70s and booked a one-night stay at Sheraton Barcelona Diagonal ahead of a cruise departing from Barcelona. This trip was incredibly special to us — a once-in-a-lifetime holiday we had saved for over many years. On the very same day we arrived, we had also received devastating news from my husband’s doctor that he has cancer, making this trip even more emotionally significant for us.
Unfortunately, due to what appears to have been an honest mistake during the booking process, we unknowingly reserved two rooms under the same name for the same night. We had absolutely no awareness that this had happened, and it only came to light at check-in — by which point it was far too late to make any changes.
Rather than showing any understanding or flexibility, the hotel staff bluntly informed us that, because the reservation was past the amendment/cancellation deadline, we would be charged for both rooms — despite only needing and using one. The attitude we encountered was essentially: “you should have cancelled.” But how could we cancel a reservation we didn’t even know existed?
As a result, we were charged nearly €800 for a single night in a standard room — an enormous and completely unexpected financial burden for two retired people living on a fixed income.
Our daughter works in the travel industry, so we do understand how booking policies and cancellation rules operate. However, we still expected some level of empathy and discretion, particularly given the circumstances and the fact that we were genuine guests staying at the hotel.
This situation caused significant distress right at the very start of what should have been a joyful and relaxing holiday. Instead of enjoying our cruise, we spent much of our trip worrying about how we would manage this unexpected expense. Given everything we were dealing with, the lack of compassion or willingness to help from the hotel management only made matters worse.
We understand that hotels have policies, but there should also be some level of flexibility — especially in situations involving genuine mistakes and very difficult personal circumstances.
Sadly, this experience has left a lasting negative impression on what was meant to be a very special trip for us.

This is my second time staying at Four Points Diagonal. I came back because of the convenient location. But this time I was offered this experience that I never expected. After asking about the Catalan way of tomato and garlic bread, the two young men at the checkin counter put a basket of the ingredients in our room! My roomie and I came back after a long day of business and were ecstatic! We loved it!
