Roomzzz York City will be given flood advice by the Environment Agency and will evacuate in line with their guidelines. A short sentence.
Pros:

We were disappointed only because there was a puddle in the kitchen area that seemed to come from the dish washer? I only found it when I walked through the water in my socks. Also, the floor felt sticky. We were moved to another room but it was older and tired, compared to the first room. The staff were great.

Cons:

We would have preferred to have stayed in the original room if someone had simply mopped the floor.

Cosy, modern apartment in an ideal location by the river.
Pros:

The apartment was lovely, very clean, cosy and modern. Loved the location by the river with an easy short walk into the city centre.

Cons:

The only thing I can fault is possibly paying £20 a night for our dog. Most places we have stayed it's only been £10. There wasn't anything even provided for the dog, not even some treats. So not sure exactly what the £20 gets you.

Very nice, reasonable and convenient apartments. Would strongly recommend.
Pros:

Nice room, best shower and comfy bed, great location, excellent facilities, friendly staff (easy check in and out)

Cons:

Floor was really dirty and no slippers provided.
The pre-payment process needs improving, the email address that the external payment link is sent from comes across as if it’s a scam. My bank also had issues with the payment.
Other than that can’t fault anything else.

Great stay but spoilt by smell and uncomfortable pillows
Pros:

Lovely room, great facilities,good location, everything you need was provided. Lovely staff, very helpful and appreciated our feedback re: pillows and stale smell in room.

Cons:

There was a stale smell in the room, very strong when returning to the room in the evening, we were lucky to have a balcony and could open the patio to vent the room. The pillows were very uncomfortable and could do with upgrading.

Pros:

Mel Staff was amazing very friendly. The view was amazing. Great touch with the free coffee and croissants. Great location
Comfortable bed everything you need for a great stay. Would highly recommend. Would book again.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location
Pros:

Great location. Very quiet area. Weather was cool, windy and rainy at times but the hotel was very comfortable in all areas.

Cons:

Lots of steps to get into the hotel - my knees don't appreciate too many steps! Once settled in we found that there is a lift which goes down to the underground car park so we made use of it :)

Fine for a basic hotel room, not acceptable for a "suite"
Pros:

It was clean.

Cons:

The name of the room type was misleading. It was called a "suite" but it wasn't. It was your standard one-room hotel room plus a tiny kitchenette off to the side. To be a "suite" the two beds would have to be in separate rooms. They weren't, and in fact it wasn't even two beds, it was a bed and a fold-out couch.

Pros:

Great location! A really easy walk into the centre of York. Really helpful staff who seemed to be coping well with stressful situations. The room was a great size and clean.

Cons:

There were no parking spaces in the car park. This meant we had to put the car onto a hatched area and tell the staff. Other cars were parked really badly, especially in the underground car park. A lift wasn’t working, and neither was the main coffee machine.
