Location was ideal and hotel was nice enough.
Air con wasn't working and our room reached 32 degrees. It had no opening windows and we had a dog with us, however a large fan in the room helped
Staff was very helpful.
On arrival a very long queue. When I finally reached reception desk, I was told the air con was not working. ( it was a very hot day & night) I any of the rooms. Breakfast was very poor for the price paid.
Everything was fine - as usual - except the air con did not work - in night-time temperatures of circa 30 degrees!
The lack of air con - not for the first time at this hotel!

TV didn't work in the room and needed tuning in, albeit the arial didn't work either so that would have been a challenge. Kettle didn't work as the base didn't match the kettle hence needed to be swapped at reception. Windows were locked so the room was too hot so had to get reception to come in and open them with a key. No air con at all. Been here before but this time we were really disappointed as basic things could have been checked beforehand such as the kettle , the windows, the TV worked etc .

Staffs were mainly friendly mainly restaurant staff and food quality is good at reasonable price
I understand that the recent heatwave across the UK has created challenges, but several issues during my stay were unacceptable:
1. The fan provided in the room was broken. It did not tilt or rotate, making it ineffective for cooling a double bed in extreme temperatures.
2. The shower was faulty and only dispensed extremely hot water at maximum temperature. With ambient temperatures above 34°C, this made it impossible to take a shower.
3. Despite repeatedly informing staff about the shower issue, no action was taken. This lack of response made the stay extremely uncomfortable and well below expected standards.
These conditions were not reasonable, even considering the weather, and significantly impacted the quality of my stay.
