A really nice small hotel with everything you need.
Pros:

Very clean and nicely decorated. Great location. All of the staff were so friendly and professional. The lounge off the lobby was a nice place to have a glass of wine before dinner. The fitness centre is clean and has good new equipment. Even the inside stairwell was clean and bright and actually nice to use.

Pros:

Very clean and modern and close to everything

Cons:

I booked a room that said it had 3 beds on the booking but the hotel didn’t have any of those rooms .The hotel did manage to change our room to one that had 2 beds and a sofa bed .But the hotel info was wrong on booking.com site

Wonderful hotel, would definitely recommend.
Pros:

Everything about the hotel was superb. The lounge was unfortunately closed when we were there, which I was really hoping to check out. Nice continental breakfast and coffees. Staff were all extremely helpful. Decor and cleanliness were all wonderful. The room was terrific, large kitchen area and seating area, separate from the bed area. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

We were lucky with parking to get a spot out front, but otherwise would have been not ideal (distant back lot). Had a bit of trouble with the TVs in our room, remote wasn't working right, but it was fixed quickly but still had some issues. Minor inconvenience.

beautiful hotel!
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel! Most hotels will advertise queen or king sized beds and when you get there they are double beds at best. These were truly king sized and so comfortable!!

Most restful sleep in a quiet and well managed property
Pros:

The Crown Columbia is one of my favorite hotels. The property is quiet and clean. The staff are friendly and attentive to all guests needs. I prefer to have access to a kitchen when travelling and the suites at this property have the perfect size kitchen to feed me (and sometimes my teens when they join me for a trip). But best of all are the beds...most comfortable mattress providing me a restful sleep every time I'm there.

Pros:

Comfortable bed; pullout couch not so much.
Greatly appreciated the bar in the bathroom.
Quiet location. Handy for getting around in town.
Appreciated the laundry facilities.

Cons:

Pull out couch is old style with springs under the mattress. Not comfortable. Newer models like our one at home are foam based and way more pleasant to8 sleep on.

Would consider a different hotel next time.
Pros:

Hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff were pleasant.

Cons:

Disappointing for grab and go breakfast. Store bought muffins and granola bars. Would be nice to see sourcing from a local baker perhaps for these things. Also no instructions how to use the Nespresso machine.
The cocktail bar was disappointing. Went down for a cocktail, only to find out they only serve wine and beer. And no bartender. You advertised a cocktail bar. This was not that. A glass of wine was $19! That’s ridiculous. We are from the Okanagan and can tell you we would have just brought our wine, if we had known. Ended up having drinks in our room instead. Also disappointing because we were looking forward to enjoying the beautiful architecture in that room.
Might consider staying at a different hotel next time even though the hotel was beautiful.

It was perfect.
Pros:

I was amazing. The outside of the hotel was very old. Built in 1929. It has an old Hotel sign on the roof. I was skepital ot htis facility until we walked into the lobby. When we registered and took the elevator to our room It was amazing the difference from the outside of the building and what Best Western did t0 the inside of their building. we were very impressed.

Cons:

I was able to get a parking space right out front. But those spaces are limited. Otherwise you park behind the building.

Great experience!
Pros:

Beautiful room, and very comfortable bed, breakfast could be better, but bakery just down the street. The view of the river was great.

Cons:

The homeless kind of takeover the riverwalk in the evening.
