Over priced , not fresh
The hotel is in a great location. Lots of restaurants and close to the metro. Only complaint was the water trickled out of the shower.
Dimitri was the first handsome smiling face that greeted me and mine at the front desk. He was polite, professional and very informative with questions I asked him. Our stay was AWESOME!! CLEAN ROOM, BREAKFAST, PARKING, WALKING DISTANCE TO RESTAURANTS.
Room was great super clean.
It was clean, very pleasant, quiet and relaxing. Everything in walking distance. Beautiful scenery.
Staff very helpful with directions. Nice and thoughtful room.
Enjoy my stay. Clean and comfortable hotel, close to the subway station for access to the national mall. Friendly staff.
Great location close to the mall and metro station
Comfortable room and good shower. Easy check-in and good customer service. Adequate parking and access. Good overnight stay.
great stay
Blackout shade did not work. I had booked through Expedia intending to stay the week. This was late night on flight from Houston. Somehow, the booking only caught the one day stay. Rate was $140. Had to rebook in the hotel for $175. I stay in Hilton Garden Inn whenever I visit DC area because it's close to my son's family (three minutes away). Frustrated re Expedia. Your engineer came promptly and showed me the wall switch for the blackout curtain.
Seems like a very new hotel. It is very clean and what you would expect of a fully functioning Hilton Garden Inn. Did not have the breakfast but good coffee is available in the morning for free. Buying extra water bottles or other drinks is easy at the front desk. All other appliances inside the room worked. The only complaint I had was that I could not get the laundry to work on the 7th floor. Although there was a credit card reader for 2 washers and dryers, neither was operational and I had to find other means. Dimitri helped checked us out and it was a very smooth process.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. The staff was wonderful, the location is wonderful and it is nice and quiet. On the negative, the bedding was stained, we had mold in our room, it smelt musty like a cheap hotel in Mexico and the beds were not all that comfortable. We paid $30 a day to park and the last day we noticed you can park across the street for $8.95 a day, underground covered parking as well. I wish I had seen that earlier. The bathroom is small, however, I enjoyed having an actual shower though they put the towels on a small cart under the bathroom sink and the floor in the bathroom was far from clean. It grossed me out to think of using the towels there so housekeeping was nice enough to give me a clean bath towel off the cart in the mornings.
The location is really fabulous. Loved walking around the area. Being next to the police station, there are cops EVERYWHERE and at all hours. I felt super safe there. We were happy to discover Subway at the Arlington Courthouse. It is walking distance to CVS and the Metro.
Took us 15 minutes by UBER to get to the Capital Building, around $25 for a one way lift.
Furniture was banged up, carpets dirty, bad smell and not so comfortable bedding. I would recommend that the hotel cleaning staff check the bedding, pillow cases and towels for stains before expecting guests to be happy getting into bed and discovering a blood stain on their pillow.
Was not the standard I expect from a Hilton.
Shops and restaurants were very handy.
Clean room, good staff
Helpful, friendly staff. Nice that there’s a bar. Parking garage fairly negotiable.
Clean room
It was a very pleasing stay!
Staff very professional.Qualty place
The advertisement for this property states "self parking available" Upon arriving I was charged $30/ day to park. The property should be advertised as "self parking available at extra cost". This is deceptive advertising.
