Pros:

I surprised my wife with this booking. She loves history and have always wanted to stay in a castle. She took lots of pictures and really enjoyed the dungeon. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean.

Cons:

We enjoyed everything.

Pros:

Eine schöne Burg mit vielen schönen typischen Dingen aus der damaligen Zeit, der Folterkeller hat auch nicht gefehlt und dann noch ein schön hergerichtetes Bett mit leckeren Nettigkeiten ❣️ Alle, vom Burgherrn, den Burgfrollein und den Knechten, waren sehr gut drauf, toll mit dem ein oder anderen Spruch auf den Lippen - das finde ich klasse 👌!! Ein wunderbares Essen, Ritterspieß flambiert, nur zu empfehlen und dazu ein süffiges Schwarzbier, sehr lekka...

Cons:

Ein gaanz kleiner Punkt zum "meckern" - unser Zimmer gehörte bestimmt zu den kleineren- der Toilettenraum war auch der kleinste meiner bisherigen 🤣 Urlaube, aber geht auch 😉

Dass die Böden knarren, darf man in einem derartigen Gemäuer erwarten, das Bett sollte das aber nicht tun.

Tolle Burgübernachtung mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern
Pros:

Es war genauso, wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben.
Nette Übernachtung in einer Burg mit prima Aussicht. Sowohl vom Zimmer als natürlich auch von der Terrasse und dem Restaurant. Das Personal war durchweg überaus freundlich und angenehm.
Die Betten und Matratzen waren super. Das Bad war tadellos sauber. Das Frühstück war bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten ( siehe weiter unten) auch ganz gut. Es gibt auch Sekt , Lachs und hochwertige Säfte.Es ist schon was Besonderes dort zu übernachten.

Cons:

Tatsächlich könnten die Zimmer/ Bäder eine kleine Aufhübschung gebrauchen. Es haucht der Wind der 90ziger. Neuer Anstrich vielleicht. Eigentlich ist alles ganz nett im Stil der Burg eingerichtet. Aber wenn dann im Bad über einem hübschen Barockspiegel ein billigster Plastikstrahler hängt, denke ich……am falschen Platz gespart.
Die Köse und Wurstauswahl beim Frühstücksbuffee war gering ( eine Sorte Schnittkäse und etwas Camembert ) und minderwertiger Sorte. Die kleinen Aufbackbrötchen waren auch billig. Ich sag mal das Buffee ist eine Mischung aus sehr gut und wo können wir sparen.
Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis war knapp noch ok.

Very special to stay in a castle. Especially one attached to the grooms fairy tale, ‘Rapunzel’.
Pros:

We felt incredibly pampered to stay in a castle built so long ago 1,300. The staff was incredible and the room unique. There is no elevator so if stairs are an issue be certain to ask for a lower floor. The restaurant atmosphere was delightful. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. Everything else was a real treat!

Cons:

The dinner menu while unique seemed to have many things that were over thought, and didn’t go together flavor wise. Unfortunately, two of the meals I got there were also cold when they were delivered to the table. The staff was wonderful, but they weren’t interested in our feedback at the time. If we come again, we’ll plan dinner in a different venue a couple of the nights, but that’s the only thing that could be improved.

En ovanlig och trevlig hotelvistelse
Pros:

Hotel i unik gammal borg med direkt koppling till sagornas värld och bröderna Grimm.Utmärkt middag. Utmärkt frukost.Trevlig personal.

Cons:

Det skulle väl vara att bastun kunde vara igång en bit längre in på kvällen.

Der schönste Hotel-Aufenthalt meines Lebens. 100% Empfehlung!
Pros:

Das Personal war absolut fantastisch.
Ich wurde noch nie so freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend behandelt.
Nachdem ich und meine Partnerin bei der Tischwahl beim Frühstück immer den gleichen Tisch in einer gemütlichen Ecke wählten, wurde er nach zwei Tagen exklusiv vom Team für uns reserviert.
Spezielle Wünsche bezüglich des Zimmers wurden unheimlich freundlich und unkompliziert ermöglicht.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lecker und vielfältig.
Die Atmosphäre ist märchenhaft.
Die Burg und das Hotel sind wunderschön.
