Delightful experience! Large, comfortable rooms; delicious breakfast and evening cookies; and fun happy hour. So close to Old Salem and downtown Winston-Salem, too.
The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and kept immaculately clean. You can tell that this place is well-cared for and well-loved. The rooms are lovely. The breakfast was standard, but well executed in a lovely breakfast room. The wine and cheese in evening and the cookies and milk before bed are wonderful touches. Everything is very convenient to the hotel. What a wonderful place to stay.
Beautiful hotel! This is my second time staying there. It’s very convenient for me because it’s in a great location, especially for UNCSA. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.
Old cotton mill renovated into a hotel. Staff was lovely. Will be staying there again!

Beautiful property, beautiful comfy rooms
The walls must be pretty thin because we were able to hear a lot of talking and movement from those around and above us.
My boyfriend booked us this hotel for Valentines Day. Five stars isn't enough. The staff makes sure that everything is comfortable for you the second you walk in. From the yummy cookies at night to the complimentary water at every turn, everything is amazing and cozy. Very close walk to downtown Winston. It's a historic building so AC and heat aren't in the rooms, though a mini heater was already in ours! Will definitely be back.
The room was not clean. Bed comforter had stains. Had to ask to be changed
nice hotel. would have rated it better, but, when we got there the bar
was closed at 7 pm. our room was 59 degrees, boiler was out. Casey the front desk
person saved us with a space heater. it finally did get to 67 degrees by morning.
the worst thing was that I had back surgery the week before, and the handicap amenities were a stool that you put in the tub with no handicap grab bars. they did have two grab bars by toilet, but the tub shower was dangerous

The rooms are large and comfortable, just as advertised. Hot breakfast is very good, and we appreciated all of the extras like tea/coffee in the lounge, happy hour and the milk and cookies at night. Staff are super friendly and flexible

The staff was friendly and helpful; the location, perfect; the breakfast was especially delightful; amenities, very nice. The exterior was lovely.
My only complaint is about my particular room. It was a little bit too rustic and roughhewn. The beds and bedding were fabulous, but the rest of the room was sparsely decorated and a little drab. That room needed side tables with lamps by the sofa, a full-view mirror would have been nice, and more pleasing art. It felt a little unfinished.

No hot water!
Breakfast was very good, wine & cheese and cookies & milk were nice touches.
We had to move rooms (not a big deal) for an issue and happened to be in a tin? roof room during a downpour which was really noisy. Not their fault, just an observation.

Shower in 103 produced water out of shower and bath at the same time. Needs repair! Commode seat was loose and needs repair! Price at over $300 wasn't worth it. Outrageous!
