The room was not clean. Bed comforter had stains. Had to ask to be changed
nice hotel. would have rated it better, but, when we got there the bar
was closed at 7 pm. our room was 59 degrees, boiler was out. Casey the front desk
person saved us with a space heater. it finally did get to 67 degrees by morning.
the worst thing was that I had back surgery the week before, and the handicap amenities were a stool that you put in the tub with no handicap grab bars. they did have two grab bars by toilet, but the tub shower was dangerous
Quaint
The rooms are large and comfortable, just as advertised. Hot breakfast is very good, and we appreciated all of the extras like tea/coffee in the lounge, happy hour and the milk and cookies at night. Staff are super friendly and flexible
bathtub was a bit disappointing although worked well
Everything was awesome! Room was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed! Staff was amazing. Told our family about how wonderful our stay was and they want to come back with us in March.
Nothing! Everything was great!
The staff was friendly and helpful; the location, perfect; the breakfast was especially delightful; amenities, very nice. The exterior was lovely.
My only complaint is about my particular room. It was a little bit too rustic and roughhewn. The beds and bedding were fabulous, but the rest of the room was sparsely decorated and a little drab. That room needed side tables with lamps by the sofa, a full-view mirror would have been nice, and more pleasing art. It felt a little unfinished.
Breakfast was great. Staff very helpful. Our room was cozy. Christmas decorations were beautiful
Nothing
Breakfast was very good, wine & cheese and cookies & milk were nice touches.
We had to move rooms (not a big deal) for an issue and happened to be in a tin? roof room during a downpour which was really noisy. Not their fault, just an observation.
Breakfast and the overall hotel decor.
Shower in 103 produced water out of shower and bath at the same time. Needs repair! Commode seat was loose and needs repair! Price at over $300 wasn't worth it. Outrageous!
Location, beauty of venue, great breakfast!
No hot water!
Loved the room.
Arrived to late and couldn't enjoy the whole property and breakfast.

We appreciated the blend of history and modern convenience. A refreshing change from standard hotel establishment. Very accommodating staff. Location close to center city and entertainment venues was helpful.
It would be good to have grab bars in the bathtub/shower. The historic nature of the building makes it less accommodating for anyone with minor impairments - uneven flooring and low lighting in rooms and hallways, multilevel rooms with narrow staircases. We were aware and able to accommodate for these challenges, but it would be helpful to advise future guests.
I loved the historic feel of the property! It was very clean and the staff was very nice.
I loved everything!
Charming with good price
