Pros:

Close to airport/train station. Easy to reach by public bus. Staff super friendly and gave us an upgrade. Hotel very clean and dinner was also good. Very quiet with triple glazed windows. No air traffic noise.

Staff were very helpful, clean and quiet rooms, good breakfast, good location for airport access, less expensive than Zu
Pros:

Location opposite bus stop (Zum Wilder Mann), 5 min ride on bus to airport (4.80 CHF full fare). Short walk to Migros supermarket and a few restaurants.

Cons:

Lack of air conditioning. There is deceptive and misleading advertising on hotel website and Booking.com. The rooms have a centrally controlled ventilation system and are not actually air conditioned. Rooms tend to be hot in warm weather. A control dial on the wall in the room and instructions on the in room iPad purports to allow temperature control but it does not substantially affect air flow or temperature. Overall ventilation was poor. Upon check out we were informed about lack of true air con, told that ventilation is controlled centrally and informed that and we could have requested a portable fan. Dinner meal options in the restaurant were very limited, did not match the on-line menu, were poorly presented and of dubious quality. On the other hand, breakfast was excellent. We stayed 3 nights spread over a month during June-July (during hot weather).

Pros:

It was clean. Nice bathroom and close to the airport by bus.

Cons:

The AC wasn’t very cold. After a hot summer day I would’ve liked cooler AC.
