Residence Inn by Marriott Houston The Woodlands/Market Street

Not so good experience as compared to Mariott Brand or courtyard by Mariott.
I majorly suffered with my Wi-Fi across my stay for two weeks. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the bedroom, signal is too low, and when you close the door, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all. The slowness of wifi was noticed by other customers stating there too.
Also, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work near the breakfast area at the lobby. This issue is faced by everyone who used to be at the lobby. I highlighted both the issue on the very first day, but the team asked me to contact the Wi-Fi vendor directly. However, it is the team responsibility to contact them and get this sorted for customers.
The second issue was regarding the door. Lock door lock had an issue while trying to lock the door once you’re out.

Wonderful room!! Nice and big!! Clean and has everything you need.

Did not make as my wife received a liver transplant and I stayed in the hospital area to be close to her

Was very comfortable and loved that it has two rooms one for me and my husband and the other for teenage daughter with a joining living room and kitchen.

Great stay for concert in the area. Easy walking to venue.

I did not like the fact that I was charged a parking fee. I was there for a concert, Inn chosen because it was a walkable distance. I could have stayed 1/2 mile away for $60 less and driven my car and parked FREE at the venue. YOU SHOULD STATE THAT THERE IS A PARKING FEE!

Overall a good stay. Reception was welcoming, helpful and kind. It met our expectations and was a good last minute stay.

Great location and stay

Everything was great. The walk to cynthia woods wasn't bad and the pool is open 24hrs, so we could jump in after a hot day in the lawn. We will likely stay here for every concert. The full kitchen was a nice surprise.

Refused to provide a receipt for my visit. Can’t get reimbursed without receipt. Will never stay again.

Front desk service was not always available.

Everything was great....however I had to leave early for a family emergency and not sure if I was given a reduction in my overall bill because I left a day early.

What I didn’t like was the fact that they charged you to park your car in their car, even though you were a hotel guest

They charged $14 usd for parking each day, never read about it on my Expedia reservation. Check in too slow, issues with some rooms, they said/

Overall the experience was good and the friendly employees!

The elevators were not working on the nights of our stay. We got put on the 3rd floor. I booked a king suite and I got a queen suite. There was not an explanation as to why we got a queen suite when I paid for a king suite.

Everything overall was good. The only thing that was an inconvenience was the elevator was broken. We did receive an email a day before my reservation informing us of the elevator issue. But the room was already booked. We were on the 3rd floor so going up and down the stairs with a toddler while pregnant was a bit tiring. But overall the stay was good.

Quite the bargain for 2 bewdrooms, 2 baths, 3 TVs, a fireplace and working kitchen!

Quiet, clean and short walk to Market Square or the mall.
