An ideally located boutique hotel in Funchal
Pros:

Hotel Caju is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the oceanfront and the cathedral, and 15 minutes from the Old Town, the teleferico and Mercado dos Lavradores. The staff were friendly and always happy to help, and the breakfasts were excellent - particularly the pancakes!

The perfect place to base yourself while exploring Funchal on foot!
Pros:

Perfectly located in old town of Funchal, on a pedestrian street, close to a lovely park and walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing-you order anything you like from their healthy, delicious menu. Staff were lovely and helpful. The entire hotel was spotless and a nice combination of traditional architecture on the outside and modern on the inside.

Polecam na krótki pobyt 😀
Pros:

Super lokalizacja, bardzo czysty pokój, śniadania bardzo dobre, brakowało nam tylko warzyw w nich, można zamawiać, ile dusza zapragnie :) Łóżko wygodne, personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Na plus również woda w pokoju, którą można napełniać, gdy się skończy.

Cons:

Ściany w hotelu są bardzo cienkie, słychać wszystkie rozmowy zza ściany, słychać również wodę podczas kąpieli z sąsiadujących pokojów. Przez to, że hotel jest w centrum, nie otworzysz raczej okna, bo jest głośno od ulicy.

•raňajky- žiadna zelenina, ak sme si ju vypytali, platili sme za ňu...
•chýba obuvak na izbe
•na toalete sa nedá zasvietit,čiže v noci sa spiaci vyrusil, všetko bolo počuť cez presklenenu stenu, chýbalo sukromie
•kúpeľňa je rovno sprcha- buď sa vyzlecies v izbe, alebo v sprche a vylozis veci von...nepraktické
•doplnenie vody by malo byt automatické na dennej úrovni

Great Breakfasts and location
Pros:

Friendly staff, very clean, excellent location. But the biggest draw in this place is the breakfast- superb with the best staff going! I'm going to miss them! Juice of the day and freshly cooked healthy breakfasts- probably the best breakfasts I've ever had. All delivered with first class service. Great service overall.

Cons:

I was doing a combination of work and holidaying. But there was nowhere quiet to work. Like nowhere. Unfortunately there wasn't even a small desk in my room. When I asked to move to a room with a desk, I was told that it would cost me at least 75 Euro a night to upgrade to a room with a desk- might have been 85 I can't remember. So you can't really work from here. This seems a bit harsh- an Ikea desk is 40 Euro to keep for as many nights as I like- so I nearly bought one! The room is also very small for the price, but I could cope with that. A room to chill out that isn't the main restaurant is what this place desperately needs- maybe the basement could be converted- it needs to be sorted out. The gym was also very disappointing- the treadmill isn't geared right so slips for example and is so tiny that it's not really worth having.

A lovely styled boutique hotel in a good location
Pros:

Breakfast was great quality but having been used to a buffet style breakfast in the past I prefer this style of breakfast. However, I appreciate there is more waste with a buffet breakfasts. The daytime receptionist was particularly helpful when checking us in and helping to source a taxi to take us to the airport.

Cons:

We asked the evening receptionist for more teabags and milk and whilst he was able to help with the former he wasn’t able to provide any milk cartons.

Very convenient and comfortable location in central Funchal
Pros:

We enjoyed the breakfast a lot getting to select different items off the a la carte menu each day. Overall the breakfast was delicious and always nice to have coffee first thing in the morning.

Cons:

Overall it was an excellent stay with no issues.

Cons:

Jak dla mnie to zbyt miękki materac łóżka. Ale to subiektywna ocena, każdy ma swoje preferencje;).

Wir empfehlen das Hotel bestimmt weiter.
Pros:

Die Lage war großartig. Das Frühstück frisch und lecker-uns ist à la carte zum Frühstück viel lieber als ein Buffet.

Cons:

Hat alles gepasst.

Vielleicht zu erwähnen, könnte etwas lauter sein, da es Mitten in der Stadt ist. Hat uns aber nicht gestört.
