Lovely period property with awesome setting. Loved seeing the cows in the field .
Staff were so friendly. Particularly jusu, cadence and saheer. Thanks so much.
Beef tagine was very good.
Maybe some of the food could be improved. Though beef tagine was very good.
Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, nice rooms with air con. Feel lovely and refreshed after my stay.
The Hotel grounds and location.
Breakfasts did not go smoothly each morning. Plenty of food but they were spread out more than was necessary.
Nice location and grounds were nicely kept
The floors and rooms/bathroom were a bit dated.
Staff were very friendly and the food was good.
The property looked a bit tired
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff were very attentive and polite, the hotel itself was very good, situated in a quiet location and the ambiance was fantastic. We were only there for one night, but would certainly return.
The slight downside were dinner plates and empty champagne bottles left outside rooms, for the entire duration of our stay.
Lovely location, decent outdoor seating, nice room/bathroom (we booked a superior king room), friendly staff - although it did seem quite short staffed overall.
Breakfast was a bit shambolic on both days - lack of staff, the buffet ran out of eggs, juice, sauces and butter several times so people were hanging around waiting. Limited options for fruit/ continental. Coffee machine did a decent coffee, but slow and not fit for a busy breakfast service, plus it kept running out of beans, so more hanging around waiting! We would stay again as the room was nice and staff were pleasant, but sort ourselves out for breakfast. The bed was big but quite soft, might not suit everyone.
Location
The room smelled of damp
The shower didn't work properly to hot as the knob was broken
location. we were going to bletchley park for the day. the hotel is 10 minutes away. large open grounds and in a quiet location

Price of the drinks
What a beautiful venue. Having driven through MK you take a turning and are transported into a lovely English village. Easy to find, impressive first view as you approach down the drive and plenty of parking near the hotel entrance. Entering the hotel you are greeted with a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful decor and furnishings. And a very warm welcome by attentive staff.
Room was delightful with a view over meadows with cows grazing. Bed and shower were excellent. I did not have breakfast but my my fish and chip dinner was the best I had eaten in many years. The fish was cooked to perfection with a lovely thin, crispy batter.
If you are attending an event at the MK Christian Centre this is an ideal place to stay as only 5 minutes drive away.
That my stay was only a few nights!
Everything was wonderful. It's rare to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes. Wonderful airconditioned room. Brilliant team that go the extra mile to make sure the stay is enjoyable. Fantastic breakfast spread in a lovely environment. We really felt valued the whole time.
All this aside we were stunned at the area. So close to the centre of Milton Keynes, Willen Lake and Bletchley. We walked in the Milton Keynes along lovely country side paths. Who would have know that the rest of the world were rushing around in cars out of sight. A walk to Willen lake is also a traffic free walk. Brilliant!
The hotel and grounds were beautiful
That it was cashless. We weren't informed of this until check in when we tried to pay for our stay in cash. CASH IS KING.
We ate our meals at the pub across the road who accepted cash.
