Main Hotel needs Decorating but a Comfortable stay
Pros:

Staff where pleasant

Cons:

Our room and the common parts of the hotels are jaded and needed decoration, looked very tired in comparison to the photographs - quite misleading
The light to our On Suite did not work and would not turn of the light - Fan kept running so we had to turn the fan of by the isolating switch - Staff did attempt to fix it but a new light switch was not available
When we arrived we where told we could not have lunch at the hotel as there was a large meeting/convention (this should have been relayed to us before we arrived)
At 6:00am on Sunday Morning some one decided to empty the bins and take the bottles out

Brilliant, friendly, helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, hotel was quiet, warm and relaxing
Pros:

Our room was lovely, we were upgraded to a deluxe room on request. The only slight negative was a lack of sockets. I use a sleep apneoa machine and need to have by the bed. Staff helped by finding us an extension leadwhich sloved the problem.

The cleaning staff were excellent and prompt, our room was tidiedwhile we were at breakfast and cleaned when we went out for the day. Our young waiter in the restaurant and worked hard to please us. When we made a suggestion to him about cutlery,he listened carefully and said he would implement it in future.

Cons:

We thought the menu was limited and a little pricey for what was essentially the "pub grub"

Disappointed as I am a regular at the hotel
Pros:

Staff at the reception were very nice, even though it took time to get checked in.He was graceful to let us know what was holding us up.

Cons:

The room toilet was not flushing.shower was not hot and water pressure was bad.
The room carpet was filthy, not sure when last it was cleaned.

Comfortable stay, nice and quiet
Pros:

Comfortable stay, staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Room was quiet, shower worked well, nice big bath towels and a warm towel rail in the bathroom, plenty of parking

Cons:

Some elements of the room were a bit worn, the lampshade next to the bed was held on by sellotape

Very good value comfortable hotel with good food
Pros:

Friendly staff, dinner and breakfast was nice. Decor was nice and it was generally a very nice stay

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the soap/shower gel. It smelt dreadful and cheap. It was so bad I had to wash my hands with my shower gel from home as I couldn’t bear the cheap smell that lingered on my hands for ages
