Location is great but the rooms need to be better taken care of.

Location . Lake at your door step. Peaceful surroundings and being one with nature.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable. The Air conditioner power light was too bright giving it a feeling of sleeping with the lights on . The bathroom was separated from bedroom /living room by just a set of wooden blinds which was poorly maintained. No cutlery provided in the room. On the whole the room just looked very tired.

If this place was upkept it would be really nice. Booking.com ripped me off I wouldn’t have paid $200 for a place like this. When I looked on their direct website it was a lot cheaper! Which I would have preferred. Sadly our blanket didn’t fit on our bed but overall not to bad

Cons:

From the moment we pulled in and saw a NZ flag in tatters it set the tone. Hallways were dirty from the floors and general surfaces. There were broken chairs and rubbish around the grounds . We had two rooms. In one room the fridge didn't work and had a smell - it needed a good wipe. In the second room there was a shirt pin that my husband almost stepped on. Both rooms needed basic cleaning. The gym and pool were unhygenic. I don't know how this place gets the reviews it has and it's a real shame as it once would have been lovely but is now run down and to be a honest a bit of a dump.

Great views and very nice area, big open, wonderful for couple of nights

Location and Views amazing, breakfast okay, staff fantastic, plenty of parking

Cons:

Too old, furnishing, bed etc but it’s not like antique old, it needs a bit more maintenance old
