Numbers in lift difficult to read if your sight is not great, corridor to room had some stained areas of carpet and was bit dark , lockers in spa bit tempremental but that might be my bad luck

Nice hotel and in a prime location. Having stayed here previously, I felt it was worth revisiting. Bar area very nice in the hotel and lots of facilities on offer.
Room was far too hot and not air conditioning. What alarmed me the most is that I stayed here in October 2025, there were no parking charges. The booking I had for July was booked previously to the October 2025 one and yet I am charged for parking and never updated about these terms and conditions. I was short of time when I arrived due to meeting with friends for a meal so felt it was not worth challenging.
The bathroom had damp marks on the woodwork. For the amount being paid for this hotel, I would be expecting far higher standards.

I can fully assure the hotel that we did have a car in October 2025 and the hotel desk was notified of this. Otherwise we would have been charged by the hotels system. There was no response in regards to the condition of the bathroom with damp marks. In response to " trying to cool rooms " this would be the tokenistic attempt at trying to cool rooms with a fan and having windows that open very little as they are held by a chain. When you pay £274 for 2 nights in the hotel, I would expect higher standards.
