Parking was a must and the onsite car park made that easy. The meals offered provided good choice at fair prices. The hotel is within a very easy flat walk to both the v&a museum and the ships"discovery" and "unicorn".
We were happy with everything.
Confortable ,calme ,très bon petit déjeuner
City View Double Room was a really good size and very clean.
Breakfast and evening meals were delicious and they had a great choice of gluten free options.
Location was ideal for the sights we wanted to see. In walking distance to most of them and to plenty of bars.
Staff were all very nice.
Nothing really other than the cigarette burns in the carpet.
Good quality
Had to pay for parking
Very friendly and helpful staff, location was excellent
Nothing
Stylish Spa hotel with a great atmosphere
Beautiful room with cute view
That my stay was too short haha
I should have stayed more 😊
The room was lovely, bed very comfy, views were amazing, breakfast was good. Good supply of coffee/tea etc, really enjoyed our stay
The seating area in junior suite was very cold, at night, due to draft coming in the window, which was disappointing. Staff member did alter heating. Plenty of hanging space in wardrobe, maybe a few more hangers and drawer space.
Central location, beautiful hotel, large room, well equipped, wonderful staff, lovely food :)
Nothing
First time at the hotel since 2014 and we wouldn’t stay again unfortunately. The staff are lovely but the rooms really need revamped. Our first room had a horrible smell in the bathroom so we were moved up a floor and given complimentary free drinks which was appreciated. In both rooms the carpets and furnishings are tired, with some staining on the carpets. The first room outdoor window was very dirty but the second room was better. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and we didn’t sleep well at all because we could hear outside (Quayside room) as well as people moving about the corridors. It was not a restful night.
The food at dinner was nice but a bit bland.
Breakfast was ok but quite disappointing. I wouldn’t pay for it if we didn’t have it included in the package.
The massages we had at the YU Spa were excellent so I would recommend a visit there but sadly wouldn’t recommend staying overnight until the hotel is upgraded.
