Its a great historic hotel. The rooms can do with a general revamp and update.
Pros:

The staff were incredible. They were super friendly and helpful. The food overall was great.

Cons:

The initial room I was given was sub standard. However, when I did report this the team at the front desk did rectify the situation and moved me to a different room.

Excellent value and convenience for families, solid breakfast, nice location and scenic rooftop pool
Pros:

The breakfast offered a diverse selection suitable for a seven-day stay and was excellent value, as payment was only required for two adults while our two children were able to dine at no additional charge.
The restaurant has a limited selection of dishes, but each one is delicious.

The rooftop pool, though modest in size, offered an impressive view, particularly when clouds enveloped the summit of Table Mountain.

The location was centrally situated, conveniently close to major attractions, and obtaining Uber transportation for short journeys was straightforward.

Cons:

Early in the morning, people in the square out front began setting up their things, causing some disturbance. However, since our rooms were on the fourth floor, closing the windows made the morning noise quite tolerable.
