The stay started out great. Hotel is clean, centrally located, and polite staff. I was supposed to check out on October 4 but realized I needed an additional night. So I went to the reception desk and asked them to book another night. They informed me that I need to do it from Hotels.com. So while I was at the Reception area, I booked an extra night. Confirmed it was reserved and left. At no time did they inform me that my reservation had actually booked two rooms in error. They knew it was me and my daughter so we would not need two rooms? I was there the entire day on October 4th and left on October 5. At no time did any staff approach me and tell me there was an additional room booked and help me resolve the problem. Imagine my surprise when I received my bill and was charged for two rooms. I called and spoke to Kristina McElroy and requested they credit me the erroneous 2nd room. She informed me they could not as it was marked as a “NO SHOW”. I was there and they were aware that this was an error, but kept refusing to correct and credit my account. I suggest that you carefully review your bill before you leave as their practice is deceitful and dishonest. Be careful.
I had a really great stay at the Hotel Republic recently. Right when I walked in, I was struck by how beautiful the lobby looked with all the holiday decorations and it felt super welcoming from the start. The front desk agent was great, too; she got me checked in quickly and even upgraded my room since I have Marriott Gold status. Which I’ve noticed some hotels recognize and others not so much.
The room itself was awesome. The king bed was actually way bigger than I expected, and I even had a slight view of the water, which was a nice surprise. One random thing I loved: the hot water in the bathroom hit the perfect temperature almost instantly. The whole place was clean and just really well laid out. I also spent some time in the lobby for the complimentary wine and food there twice. Honestly, the food was surprisingly good and the portions were huge. The location is also perfect if you like Little Italy; it’s just a short walk away. I chose this location because it was near Little Italy in the first place.
The only tiny thing was the scent by the elevators—it smelled good, but it was just a little too strong. Aside from that, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.
The Lounge Blows. The staff does not
From Carlos at the bar to the housekeeping and front desk, the staff is awesome. The last remodel in 2016 is showing its age but holding up good. The Lounge for Platinum and Titanium is very blah. Chips Apples and Oranges soda. That's it. Instant eggs and cheap pastries and cold coffee in the Lounge. No coffee after 10. Worst lounge I have expericed. Pass

We recently stayed at the Hotel Republic for a couples get away. We loved the hotel and highly recommend it. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly. Loved the rooftop bar and the lobby bar/restaurant -- the food and drinks were excellent. Location is amazing. Will definitely stay at the Hotel Republic again.
Had an excellent stay at Hotel Republic over Thanksgiving weekend. It was my second time at the hotel, but it's been a few years so I had forgotten that I enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and the staff was really excellent. Shout out to Jayse at the front desk for helping me out with quite a few things. The only thing that annoys me about this hotel is the $25/night + tax resort fee or whatever they call it. They do give it back to you in a daily $25 credit for food and drink, so I enjoyed a couple local draft beers at the rooftop bar, but it's annoying that I was locked in to drinking there instead of exploring the city. Appreciated the coffeemaker and fridge in the room and the late checkout, but really could have used a microwave, even a community one in the lobby.
Soft and clean bed, it was very quiet and safe, and breakfast was delicious.

Great service, Abel greeted us immediately and helped us get our vehicle as quickly as possible from valet. Abel mentioned it may take about 5 min to get our vehicle because it was in a further parking space but he immediately rushed (ran) to go get it without us requesting him to hurry and had it back for us right away. He was very polite and greeted us with a smile, highly recommend hotel republic, thank you again Abel.
I have 2 rooms and two 25 food credit. I eat 33 dollars. They still charge me because I have to split the bill. I called and they are not willing to make the adjustment. I say I will complain to Marriott. And they said I m threaten them. Do I have the right to complain to a higher authority. As a Marriott life time platinum member !
