Absolutely loved this rooftop spot! The ambiance was perfect—great vibes, beautiful views, and just an all-around relaxing atmosphere. The bartender, Ally, really stood out—attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Drinks were on point and service never missed a beat. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for a great night out!

My husband and I came to the rooftop bar to celebrate, and we had the BEST experience! Our bartender Ally, was absolutely incredible! She was so friendly, welcoming, attentive. The drinks were delicious, the rooftop atmosphere was beautiful, BUT the service truly made our celebration even more special. She went above and beyond and made our night one to remember! We will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend this rooftop bar to anyone looking for great drinks, amazing service, and a beautiful place to celebrate!

Had such a great time at this outdoor bar! The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, perfect for hanging out and enjoying the fresh air. The drinks were honestly some of the best I’ve had—super well-made and definitely exceeded expectations.

What really made the experience stand out, though, was the bartender, Ally. She was incredibly friendly, funny, and made the whole night even more enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in both the service and the energy she brings.

Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to—highly recommend if you’re looking for great drinks and good vibes!

We stayed at Hotel Republic San Diego Autograph Collection and decided to dine at the Topside Terrace. It was an Amazing experience. The atmosphere was great. The music, the food, drinks and customer service was excellent. Trey and Emma provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond. Thanks for an awesome experience.

At check-in, I was handed a welcome letter stating that I had a $20/day experience credit to use at the hotel bar or restaurant. Based on that information, I chose to dine at the hotel almost every day.
However, when I checked out, I was told that because I was on a corporate rate and did not pay the destination fee, I was not actually eligible for the $20/day credit. When I asked why I had been given a letter clearly listing the credit, the staff explained that the check-in associate had “obviously” handed me the wrong letter.
That explanation does not help much after I had already spent money at the hotel based on the information they provided. If a guest is not eligible for a benefit, the hotel should not hand them written materials saying that they are. This was misleading and poorly handled.

Julian and Dom’s did a great job taking care of our car and were very helpful with our bags when my wife and I arrived at the hotel.

Felipe was very profesional during the hole event, he took excelent care of me and my family through my stay.

This is the second time that I stay at this hotel. I like a lot the location because is a 15 min walk to the harbor area or to restaurants in the Gas Lamp area. The hotel is modern and I like the ambience at the lounges. The room and the bathroom are big and modern and the cleaning service is excellent. It's an easy and fast drive to the highways to visit other areas of the city or places near San Diego. We had breakfast two days at the main Lobby and the food was really good and our servers were quite nice. Terrace area is quite nice as well; but because of weather we could not use it this time, but is quite nice for a glass of wine and appetizers with music and friends.

Close to train station. Beautiful lobby. Nice room with comfortable window seat. Pretty city view.
