Great location and great stay
Pros:

This is the second time that I stay at this hotel. I like a lot the location because is a 15 min walk to the harbor area or to restaurants in the Gas Lamp area. The hotel is modern and I like the ambience at the lounges. The room and the bathroom are big and modern and the cleaning service is excellent. It's an easy and fast drive to the highways to visit other areas of the city or places near San Diego. We had breakfast two days at the main Lobby and the food was really good and our servers were quite nice. Terrace area is quite nice as well; but because of weather we could not use it this time, but is quite nice for a glass of wine and appetizers with music and friends.

Cons:

Parking fee is expensive, but considering that parking is quite expensive in California is an issue that didn't bother us, we just looked for a public parking with a better fee near by. Amenity fee is as well an extra, but you get 50% of that fee on complementary food & beverage each day. It's quite good to be able to use it!!!

Nice place, nice staff, close to Amtrak.
Pros:

Close to train station. Beautiful lobby. Nice room with comfortable window seat. Pretty city view.

Cons:

Having to use a key card to get up to your room caused problems in the elevator when several people were going up at once. We were all having trouble accessing our floor. Also, the coffee maker didn’t work and getting coffee with ONE muffin cost 38. Dollars. Pug-leeze.

EXTREMELY CHEAP MANAGEMENT
They charged $80 destination fee which is a credit that comes back fully as food and beverages. They only credited $40 per “new hotel policy”. $40 is not a big deal but extorting it from each guest will add up as an extra income for the hotel.
For a multi million hotel, it is so unethical and it is an obvious case of total ripoff.

Excellent location to enjoy San Diego
Pros:

The location was perfect to walk the waterfront. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ben at the valet was extremely helpful and went out of his way to assist us.

Pleasant hotel
Pros:

Typical for autograph collection hotel location not the best (close to courthouse, not very many walkable restaurants) but walkable to Hyatt and convention center. Food okay but nothing to get excited about. No pool. High floor city view

Pros:

Personale gentilissimo e professionale. Sempre disponibili e pronti a venire incontro a problemi o esigenze particolari. La colazione è molto buona. Nonostante non ci sia un buffet ma è una scelta con menù, la scelta è abbastanza varia e la qualità del cibo ottima! Molto abbondante!

Cons:

Stanze completamente insonorizzate! Pur essendo al quarto piano si sentiva la palestra dita al secondo piano. Altra pecca importante è la presenza di porte comunicanti con le stanze adiacenti all’interno della stanza. Ciò rende la camera completamente insonorizzata e ciò ha portato a un paio di notti insonni e un risveglio brusco causa vicini decisamente maleducati. La doccia in vasca è un punto a svantaggio poiché scomoda e soprattutto non regolabile il doccino!! Infine la tenda nella vasca… la posizione è abbastanza strategica per la vicinanza sopratutto alla stazione American Plaza ma in generale la zona non è delle migliori.
