Location and friendly, pleasant, helpful staff
The room was ridiculously, hilariously small, a joke. It was 2 of 3 paces from wall to wall. I barely fit in the shower stall, I couldn’t take a normal shower comfortably.This so-called room was a closet and the price was off the chart disappointing in terms of price quality ratio.

The receptionists were very helpful and friendly.
The staff were wonderful - friendly, outgoing, able to answer questions and solve any issues, like getting the correct bed configuration for us.
The air conditioning was out in our room (508) but they assured us it was working. I gave them feedback that it's possible the AC units are working at first, and then freezing and failing after some time. This is common with AC units that need more coolant, for example. I don't think the staff mis-represented the issue, I think it's a tricky one to diagnose. We stayed at the end of May, which was comfortable with the window open. If this had been July or August, we would have asked for a refund and switched hotels. I do hope they resolve the AC issues promptly before the Summer arrives.

Personale gentile e sempre disponibile nel risolvere eventuali problematiche. La stanza è piccola, ma ben organizzata e dotata di tutto il necessario. Letto molto comodo. Pulizia ottima.
La connessione del wifi non permette di lavorare in stanza o di connettersi a internet senza dover fare hotspot con il telefono, purtroppo saltava spesso la linea e la sera non si connetteva per niente bene.
I stayed at this hotel with my friend for one night in May 2026, and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. At check-in, we were kindly given a free room upgrade, an early check-in, and they also provided two beds as we requested.
The room had everything we needed, and the interior was very unique and charming. The windows were large and opened onto the main central street, which gave the room a great atmosphere.
The location is very convenient — only about a 5-minute walk from Zurich Central Station.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!
