I would recommend it for the solo traveller.
Pros:

Ibis was central, close to transport. Value for money. A good breakfast - hot and cold food.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

It was dirty and smelly and there was no indication of the price of parking at booking. In fact no indication that parking was at an additional cost- I did put in special requests at booking that I had a large car and needed a large park. I got a “request granted” message but no mention of price.
The cheap rate of the room was negated by the cost of parking. Had I known I would have booked elsewhere. Poor form Ibis.

Small clean hotel very close to central Newcastle
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a good little hotel a few bus stops from central Newcastle.

Cons:

There was no coffee machine available at the buffet breakfast 😱 not a big issue tho

The location was excellent, beds were very comfortable and the duty manager on our arrival was very lovely.

Cons:

The food was just basic and the food service could be better. The cleaness of the bathroom and shower was average.
