Central hotel, lovely staff, minute single room
Pros:

A very central hotel. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. The dinner was poor - thin, watery soup; salmon fine but veg unpleasant; pudding inedible for me although others tucked in.
My single room was so small it would give a swinging cat concussion. I pay a supplement for this room, which is laughable. The staff are all very pleasant.

Excellent location for tourists. Would definitely recommend it to others.
Pros:

The location was the best. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It didn't have all the amenities but had comfortable room.

Cons:

I think I liked everything.

Pros:

Good value, great location, quiet and incredible breakfast. The blackout shades helped a lot and the staff even provided me with breakfast to go when I had to check out early in the morning.

Pros:

Location next to the train station in city centre was very convenient. Beds and pillows were extremely soft and it felt like sleeping in a melted butter, which I liked. Breakfast was very tasty, with many options and special selection of lactose and gluten free products.

Cons:

Nothing! Super soft beds and pillows may not be everyone’s preference so if you like hard mattress, you may want to skip this hotel.

Welcoming and warm Hospitality; excellent location
Pros:

We stayed at the Thon Oslo during our trip to see friends in Norway, and when we had a change in plans and returned to Oslo, we made sure to stay here again.

The service was absolutely perfect. We notified them that we were arriving from a
Trans Atlantic flight, and when we arrived, they were expecting us and sent us straight to breakfast.

The rooms were clean, beds and air temperature comfortable, nice modern room, and we can't say more about how nice everyone was.

Breakfast was extensive and I was able to get my fix of brown cheese, coffee yogurt and breads. Lots of salads, fruits, other cheeses, eggs, etc.... the breads were amazing.

This is also exceptionally well located. We came from the airport to Central Station (Oslo S) and wheeled our bags over. The harbor, library, and Opera are across the street. Most things we did were a 10-30 min walk away max. And for the rest, public transit is all either in front of the hotel or a 2-3 block walk.

Highly recommend this modern hotel.
