Lovely hotel, fabulous location, great staff, amazing breakfast!
Pros:

Adjacent to the main train station so incredibly handy for travel and centre attractions etc

Cons:

Rooms were too hot and unable to change temperature

Perfect location, great breakfast
Pros:

Location, breakfast, staff all excellent. Unfortunately when I work-travel they book a single room at Thon Hotel Opera, and that means japanese-level tiny rooms, like these are probably the smallest rooms in Norway-level small. Unusual, very unusual. The double/twin rooms are "regularly" sized so book those with confidence.

Great hotel!
Pros:

Excellent hotel with really friendly staff.

The rooms are well furnished, great bed, well stocked bathroom, really comfortable.

Breakfast was exceptional, so much choice!

Great location near the station and harbour. Top marks!

Great hotel
Pros:

The Thon Opera is a great hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is spectacular with so many choices. It is located right next to the central station and that makes it super convenient to public transportation. If you leave the train station towards Trelastgata, it is literally across the street.

Nice hotel and great location right next to the train station
Pros:

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and shower great (which is good after a flight!!). The breakfast was good with a wide range of options. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Oslo.
