This is a huge 3 building 5 story complex of ground floor shops and condos. The condos are rented out by various entities. In our case it was through a combo of Vacasa and Orbitz. We were in Breckenridge for several days of skiing. Our unit was #1413 in the A Building (Green color code). The 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit was large and cleanish. There were some problems however. The overall impression was thrift store chic. Think college frat apartment. Broken lounge chair, mismatched and damaged 'end tables', King size bed with uncomfortable foam topper and carpeting that was a possible science experiment. Fridge ice maker wouldn't. GE profile range did not have any power so wouldn't turn on.
Found the breaker, which was tripped, and turned it on. Now had power to the cooktop and I noticed the oven was on. Couldn't turn the oven off with the controls. Got the manager (Brian Sheerin, who was very nice and helpful). He couldn't turn it off either. Got a maintenance guy who diagnosed a short circuit. He disabled the oven, but we could still use the cooktop. So, someone must have 'solved' the oven by throwing the breaker OR an initial short event occurred. The good stuff is as follows. Good location for walking (150 yds) to the Quicksilver lift. Complimentary ski valet service (Charter Ski) in the bottom of the Registration building. Nice, clean hot tubs outside the fitness center beside Charter Ski. Indoor parking below the building, but the area is a labyrinth so get good directions. Its color coded and you will need your room key. PAY for the parking in advance for the days you be there at the desk by phone BEFORE parking. Strick enforcement. Great restaurants very close by.
The front desk staff is horrible. It’s truly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a front desk person in my entire life. Just look at other reviews! And managers do not care! I will try to post the reply from the front desk staff when we complained that the front desk employee cursed at us, that’s right, cursed at us, because of a request for a late checkout. And the request was for an additional 30 minutes due to a sick child. She wasn’t wearing a name tag and wouldn’t provide her name clearly. Do not stay here for any reason.
The area is in an excellent location. Overall wonderful stay.
Condo was wonderful. Property adequately mIntained, however, hallway carpets are disguistingly dirty. This property management group needs to review who is representing the public upon checkin. Happy... not rude people!
Woman slammed down the parking mess of a map and stated you'll "figure it out ". It's a friggin mess trying to park where allowed as not to get towed.
The Main Street Station was perfectly nestled in the middle of all the shops and dining and happenings! People are so friendly and the place had incredible views! Perfect for snowboarding/skiiing season!
Older rundown condo. I have stayed there multiple time and condition gets progressively worse. Not terrible but I expect better for the money!!
Enjoyed the area. Nice being close to shops and downtown. Close to food. Window had to be open to cool the room since no AC, but the window was broken also. Bed very hard though
If you are satisfied with 1 star accommodations this place is for you. If not, don't stay here.
Staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Took 3 trips to the front desk to get keys that worked. Staff acted annoyed that they had to deal with this. No hot water when we checked in. Front desk said you had to let it run for 15 minutes to get hot water in the unit.
Unit is run down and tired. It is in need of updating and a GOOD cleaning. The carpet felt dirty, furniture is old and worn. The entire unit needs fresh paint.
No stopper in bathtub. Had to put washcloth in drain to hold water. Toiled seat was cracked. 2 of the 4 humidifiers didn't work, and vacuum didn't work. Several windows didn't work properly and sliding door was very difficult to operate.
Tried to call front desk but phone in unit didn't work. Called the front desk on my cell for a vacuum replacement and a couple of humidifiers but they did not have any replacements. Again acted annoyed. After a few days a condo with 9 people needs some sort of housekeeping. I was even willing to pay extra. Not available. I spent 30 minutes cleaning out the vacuum.
Very disappointed with this unit.
Vacasa should be embarrassed to put their name on this property.
Stay was amazing, great location and close to all we wanted
The rental defibrillator needs a little TLC. There were several
Overall very nice. No A/C was tough when it got hot.
I loved the comfort and views of this property. They had everything we needed. Would definitely go back and stay.
The location was perfect with easy access to main street and the ski hill. Parking was free with clear instructions. The condo was clean and had plenty of amenities.
Location, location, location. This property is centrally located to all that you could ever need. I love that you could walk just a few minutes to a handful of restaurants and shops. Check in was easy. The staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed our views from the balcony which was a bit tiny but not a deal breaker. Bed was very comfortable. My only critique is that the rooms and furniture are quite dated. But again for us that was not a dealbreaker as it got the job done and the location is perfect. Would definitely stay there again.
Was my first time to Breckenridge and the location couldn’t have been better. The room was fully stocked with everything you could need. Was walking distance to everything. Enough things almost right across the street that even though it was cold and snowing most of the days you could still do things and not worry about the weather.
Overall the condo was great and great location, close to amazing restaurants and bars. May I suggest having an instruction sheet for the TVs. Seems like the family before did something to the TVs and were off the network. I tried to reconnect but nothing worked. Thank God I had my iPad to watch my shows at night.
Only thing good was the location. Place needs an update, didn’t even have coffee in the lobby.
The property was awesome! We loved the room and the proximity to the town. We didn’t check out the amenities but they seemed awesome. The only thing is the front desk was a little rude to us, but you don’t have to interact with them other than check in/out.
The water pressure in the shower was borderline unusable. Great location but property starting to show its age. Could use an update.
