Albuquerque Hotel West by IHG

The breakfast was fresh The hotel’s under construction. A lot of areas need improvement on. The room carpet dirty and stained and bathrooms had holes in walls. Hopefully that is part of the updates

RUN DOWN

Good for the price overall. There’s some renovations going on but we didn’t experience any noise. Breakfast is continental nothing special. Good location near restaurants and not to far away from downtown or airport.

Relatively clean end decent place to stay. Convenient off the highway. Not anything nearby for convenience or grocery store that was open or allowed actual entry into the store after 10:00 pm. Closest was a Maverick about 5 miles away. Service was friendly and quick.

Victor was great. The room smelled quite bad, in spite of clean look. Opening window and turning on the fan got rid of the smell eventually.
Difference in price from what I ordered on Expedia and thought i was getting as opposed to confirmation info. I will double check expedia next time!

Needs some refresh

Hotel was actively under renovation, so lobby and hallways were in renovation mode. We were here for one night along our road trip.

Room was small for the three of us. Sink counter outside of tub/toilet room was convenient but was very small. There was no towel rack or space next to shower to put things. Beds were ok with standard pillows.

All exterior doors except the front door were not secure. There was shady activities at night going on. I did not feel safe.

Breakfast was literally in the lobby. There were 4 tables available. Food selection was sparse so items ran out 1.5 hours of opening when we were told the wrong opening hour.

Hi, the staff was terrific and helpful. They are doing some remodeling at this. Perfect place to stop on your trip.

No sheets in our guestroom the floors were very wet the key wasnt working properly to much noise and it stinks. This was a very terrible stay for us. Would not recommend to stay the night here at this hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the accommodations clean. When the sink was plugged, the custodian fixed it promptly.

Excellent value, customer service and cleanliness. Pet friendly and helpful. Construction is not an issue, as the staff overcompensates for any inconvenience.

Remodeling at the time so a lot of construction in the building, but not at night

Had I known this property was going under a remodel that looked like a construction zone I wouldn't have stayed here. The price was right, but the room and property reflected the price. Supposed to have been a non-smoking room, but smelled heavily of prior smoke. Carpet was very stained, and what I would describe as nasty. The entry door for guests to enter in parking area didn't work properly. After one failed attempt I went to front desk to complain I couldn't get in. Front desk clerk tried to explain the trick to getting in. After 2nd attempt with no luck I got him to come and show me how to get in. Took him 3-4 attempts before door would light up for door to operate. Noticed there was a good sized rock by door. Every time I needed something out of my vehicle the rock was utilized to make sure I wasn't locked out. I agree. This property needs an update. Expected more out of a Wyndham property.
