When I arrived for my reservation, the entire hotel was closed due to a severe water leak. I was not notified by either Wyndham or Expedia regarding the cancellation of my reservation.
Hotel closed suddenly with little notice. Burdensome to try to book elsewhere at midnight.
We drove 9 hours to find it closed down!
I have a mixed review for this property. Got checked in late in the evening at a busy time on a football weekend at UA. The hotel I originally booked months in advance through hotels.com turned out to be under renovation and in a pinch they put me in this hotel. They put me in a room that smelled so bad of mildew that it was almost intolerable. Running the air conditioner made it worse so I just left it off. It was after 11 and most hotels were booked so I didn’t even try to change rooms figuring there was no other option. Next morning I figured I’d run by the office and ask if all room smelled so bad and if they could move me for my second night. The lady smiled and said no they don’t all smell that bad and gave me a clean room right there at 9 AM. If they were aware how bad that room was and clearly had a different room available, why did they put me in the mildew room, I don’t understand. In the end, the new room was modest, but not disgusting so that’s why the mixed review.
The hotel was closed when I got there. It had been closed for 9 months. Not sure why Expedia allowed me to book the hotel last week.
The hotel was under construction when I arrived leaving me with no accommodations!!!! And to make things worse, I never received and notification that the hotel would not be available!!! I had traveled 6 hours to the hotel hoping I could get some rest only to find out that it was under renovations for another few weeks!! Never again will I book another hotel with Hotels.coms
You lost a customer!
You booked me into a property that had been closed for renovations for several months. I arrived to check in to find that the property was not open. There were no other rooms available within a reasonable radius of my destination and I ended up sleeping in my car for the night. I am just so thankful that I did not have small children with me. Come on- get communications synced with your booking site and the properties. I am seriously considering never using Expedia again. I a sharing with all who ask about my terrible experience with this company.
I drove to this location and the building is being renovated I assume … there were no other hotels available for the Alabama Vandy game … we had to spend over $700 for 2 nights at a run down hotel … I actually received an email confirming my stay … THIS IS HORRIBLE BUSINESS !! … I want a REFUND !!!
I checked in via the website the day before we arrived. The next night we roll up after a five hour drive and the hotel was CLOSED. Gee thanks a-holes! Not easy to find anothet hotel on Alabama game weekend at 9:00 pm! And of course, they haven't refunded my money. Stay away!
It was closed for renovations yet I was not told that until a week before arrival.

They were close for renovation, had to spend 200 more dollars to get room at holiday Inn
The property was closed and I was never informed
Though ingress/egress was a little challenging (prob due to construction?), it was right off the highway, so that was ideal!
Facility need upgraded.
The hotel was permanently closed when I arrived. Neither the hotel nor Expedia contacted me. I had to rebook with an hotel at 8pm costing me $300 more. Who will reimburse me.
Very clean, great view of our church from our room
No complaints
They were closed for renovations and no one contacted us to let us know. We had to find another place to stay. This is definitely unacceptable and we are expecting a full refund.
