I really loved the hotel, nice rooms, enjoyable reception, I had a small problem, they did not find my reservation. I'm a tour guide from Brasil and took almost 40 people there, but the problem was solved quickly. The breakfast was my top list amazing, tasteful I really loved. Near everything, and the staff was nice and gentle. Thank you all. I hope one day I'm coming back for another great staying. ♥️
Cancelled our reservation last minute, told us the hotel is now closed to the general public. This has ruined our child’s early Christmas present as we now can’t attend.
Disappointing over charging yet again because concert at Wembley, musty rooms, no air con, smelly drains it’s rated as a three star but rooms def not three star
I would love to have left a review of my stay at hotel - however its been cancelled. Booked in Feb for an event in November. Booking.com making out they are doing me a favour for not charging me a cancellation fee.
I can only assume given that there are zero dates now available for the foreseeable that this is now being occupied by our Home Office ..... AVOID IBIS AT ALL COSTS!
Awful stay, rude staff members when checked in, rooms where dirty don’t think where cleaned. Not the friendliest of places
Ibis cancelled night’s accommodation at their Wembley hotel which was for the Oasis gig. No explanation. Months after the booking was made and c. 8 weeks before the date we should have stayed. Now there’s no alternative. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Didn’t bother responding to my question via Booking.com why my booking was cancelled either.
Canceled with no explanation. Total waste of time. Won’t ever risk booking again. Such a shame as we were looking forward to it
Booked a room for the 28th Sept 25, paid more that what it had normally cost 5 months ago, due to a certain band playing. Got an email, sorry we've cancelled your booking. No reason, bet they are now selling rooms double what we paid. Thank you ibis. Your customer care is second to none.
They cancelled my booking for late September 2025. Paid in advance and now have to wait 7-12 days for a refund. Generic email sent, making it sound like they’re doing me a favour by refunding me. Apparently there is a fire safety issue based on other reviews. I wouldn’t be surprised if they reopen in a couple of days and resell the rooms at a higher cost. Won’t use them or any other Accor hotel or Booking.com again.
I booked this hotel months and months ago. They cancelled my reservation 39 days before I was due to check in - no reason given. Appalling - AVOID
I had 2 rooms booked with Ibis Wembley for a concert and a football match. Travelling down with my children from Newcastle for this. Been booked for at least 4 months then today out of the blue they cancel both booking (the booking are 9 days apart) leaving me trying to find another hotel when almost all of them are fully booked. No reason given, just cancelled and thats it. I've used Ibis multiple times but will never use them again as they cannot be trusted. Raging!!!
Please be aware when booking this hotel that they'll cancel on you at the last minute, especially when there's an event on at Wembley. They'll not respond as to why it was cancelled at such short notice, even though it was booked months in advance.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I was seeing a show at the Wembley OVO Arena, and this was the perfect location, right near Wembley Stadium train station, and an easy walk to the venue. My room was clean and comfortable with a stunning view over the city. I had to do some work whilst there too, and the WiFi in my room worked efficiently. The bed was so comfortable! I had a lovely night's sleep, and the room felt peaceful. I paid for breakfast, which was lovely, although the breakfast restaurant area was very busy, so you may need to consider the time you go. I also ate some dinner at the lobby restaurant, as I was back late, and the food was good, with a good selection of drinks at the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel felt secure as you needed your keycard to be able to get in later at night. One of the lifts was not working when I was there, but I presume this was a temporary issue. Overall, I thought it was a great hotel in a great location, and I would definitely stay here again!
Cancelled our booking for Coldplay on 31 August. We paid what I thought over the odds at nearly 500 a night. Stay for long said the hotel is closed. It’s up on Trivago at the moment for 1244 per night for the night we booked. When I followed the booking process it took me to Say for longs website. Absolute scammers.
The hotel was great, clean and comfortable with great value food and drink. We stayed for the guns n roses concert at wembley. Two nights , the first on the day of the gig was over £200 but the next night was £77. The room was great with an awesome city view. Staff were great and all wore guns n roses t-shirts and all music playing was rock music. The four stars is because of the price for the night of the gig. Pretty good in all.
Disgraceful from Ibis & Accor. Made 2 night booking months ago for Oct 2025 to watch NFL Wembley. They just cancelled booking for "fire safety" reasons.
Nice
Cancelled our booking via email 4 days before our stay to see oasis! I understand now from reading other reviews it was due to safety reasons but when I called the hotel I wasn't given any meaningful help. I was just told I could be moved to Brentford which obviously wasn't an option or have a refund. No attempt to compensate us for this huge inconvenience. Ended up paying £333 for a Travelodge 15 minute walk away as literally everything else nearby was full. Ibis should offer all of us affected last weekend some sort of compensation. Maybe a voucher towards a future stay? The whole thing was extremely unprofessional. A hotel chain of this size should be better. Especially after charging the amount they did for the oasis gigs!
My room was cancelled on me less than 24 hours before I was due to stay there
Cancelled our booking at 9pm the night before we was due to stay. Couldn’t give us any information and then hung up on us.
Still no refund…..
Shame as very convenient for Wembley but can’t be trusted and overpriced. Make sure you pay by credit card as will need protection
