Rufflets is a perfect place to stay.
Pros:

The breakfasts and dinners were of an exceptionally high quality and were made even more enjoyable by the staff. They go out of their way to engage with the clients in a very friendly fashion while still being respectful and always helpful . This carries on to the rest of the staff as well and you almost feel part of their family while you are there. Our room was beautiful with old fashioned style furnishings in keeping with the building but with modern trappings to enhance comfort. The bathroom was huge with a free standing bath and a walk in shower and we had a sitting area and a furnished balcony. The garden outside is very special with delightful areas to walk in or have a seat.

Cons:

There was nothing you could find any fault with.

We would come back in a heartbeat.
Pros:

This property was absolutely lovely. There were multiple areas, inside and out, to sit and chat with other guests. The staff was warm, but professional. It was a wonderful place to return to at the end of the day.

Beautiful room
Pros:

Staff kindly upgraded us to a classic room which was fantastic. Huge bathroom and bed, I highly recommend this room - we loved it! We enjoyed sitting by the fire downstairs and reading our books.

Cons:

Not a huge amount of atmosphere around the hotel. Vegetarian cooked breakfast could have been better.
